Mine happened just some few weeks ago when i got a cook job at Victoria Island(1004) but before i left, i already knew i won't be call back for the job.

When i was there, i noticed, infact no be only noticed, i saw with my korokoro eyes that all the staffs where extremely nice to me, some were even praying for me because whenever i cook for there boss, i something brought some for them.

There was even two staffs that are from my state, one is from my local government and from the same home town.
This same man form my local government , we were very close that he was the one that gave me his number, asking about my family house that he will like to know my family from my home town.
So after a week working with my boss who usually travel regularly in & out of the state, so when he later traveled out, I was called to the accountant office and paid off saying that they will call me when the boss is around but i don already sense wetin dey sup, so i just give out my account and received my one week payment.

But what really surprised me after a week was when i was was chatting with this my hometown Man after when i have left there, his replies to me was so damn very cold , i was like no be dis same man dey form nice man to me so?
That one no even pain me, than the driver wey i dey give food steady, wey my Oga(boss) no suppose no say i dey give food, can you believe that this guy can't even flash me when i left there. So after awhile, i called him and he was "NO VEX SAY I NO CALL YOU, HOW IS UR FAMILY? " After like some few minutes wey we talked together, I sensed that i was disturbing me, and i quickly cut the call.

After a week again , i called the accountant and greeted her and asked about every one in the office but to my greatest surprise, i heard this my hometown man talking underground that "Is that Femi, help me and greet him also, and tell him i will call him". Since then, none of them have call me and no be say i dey expect their calls but i hate when people are been cunning and too full of eyes service when they are been around you.

If I leave a company I don't call anyone O.You are not suppose to be sharing your oga's food to the staff.It is an offense.Maybe someone snitched on you to your boss.

Meanwhile,is 1004 not a resident?

That's how life is. You are forgotten since we don't have business together again.
You too,move on. It is not that the people who forgot you are bad people. It is just how the world is.

Them no call, no whatsapp, no text and it was like you abandoned them..na life beef for resigning.

Sorry OP, I feel like you're so much into your former workplace. You've left yet you're worried about them and how things are going, why's that?

Please, move on and focus on your new job. Your old workplace is in the past now.

Worry ke? all what i got within 6months with the grace of God Almighty without working under anybody, if i should start working dere from now till 5yrs i will never get 0.5% of what i have gotten.

I worked with a catering outfit then.We traveled to one of the southwest state outside Lagos.So we drove passed epe to vi.It was late in the night,so the caterer owns an apartment there.So she allowed I and other colleagues to pass the night in one of the spacious room.

Well to be sincere, ONE OF my late father's property was sold in the heart of Lagos. The money we got there was millions and it was shared among we, the ten children.
By the grace of God Almighty, i bought a land with foundation opposite MFM (IBAFO) and i kept the remaining when bitcoin was running from 33k to 68k.
My wife started selling frozen foods, meself i dey do Order for food, u can order for any food in large quantities and i go cook ham for u and supply u with just shikini money but no b every time order dey come so that was what makes me went out to work since it will be few days in a month and it wont affect my own business.
