Police Confirms Death Of Ifeanyi Adeleke, grills Domestic Staff by Nemere2020: 10:15am On Nov 01, 2022
The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday morning confirmed the death of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of popular music artiste, Davido, and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.

It was gathered that the first son of the artiste died on Monday at his father’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.

Police Public Relations Officer in the state Benjamin Hundeyin told Channels Television that Ifeanyi drowned on Monday.

When asked whether Ifeanyi is dead, the police spokesman said, “Yes, he is; he drowned.”

“No arrest yet but domestic staff have been brought in for questioning,” Hundeyin added.

Meanwhile, tributes have been pouring in from celebrities and fans of the singer.

The Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday said eight domestic workers were brought in for questioning in connection with the death of Davido’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the development to our correspondent, said the domestic workers’ narrations would assist the command in ascertaining the circumstances surrounding the death of the three-year-old boy.

Hundeyin, however, said anyone not found culpable would be released immediately, adding the ones found culpable of negligence would be held back to assist the command in the ongoing investigation.

Hundeyin said, “His (Ifeanyi’s) death is confirmed. His (Davido’s) domestic workers have been brought in for questioning and anybody found not culpable will be allowed to go immediately.

“About eight of them were brought in to narrate their version of what happened to assist us in getting what really happened.

“At the end of their narrations, whoever that is found not guilty of negligence or not culpable in anyway will be allowed to go.

“Anybody found culpable will stay back to assist us in further investigation. The domestic workers are about eight that were brought in.”

1. Negligence
2. Davidos baby mamas
3. Davido himself

But in all God overseas everything


Davido has recorded so much deaths around him that he should cry out for a spiritual help if the ones he’s consulting ain’t working

One expects that the police will take in the reckless and irresponsible parents who are widely known to live a wild lifestyle for questioning and possible prosecution. Deji Adeleke failed big time to properly bring up David Adeleke who has become a deviant and was the father of the unfortunate child. By now Deji Adeleke should know that life is not all about money or building churches and universities!!! What have you done with your children? That should be the first consideration. You fail in that aspect you have failed in life. Ask MKO ABIOLA et al.
The interest of the dead child was not well protected while he lived. In saner climes the parents will be required to provide answers to questions as to where they were and with whom did they leave the child when the unfortunate incident happened? How safely located and constructed was the private swimming pool? Was a lifeguard employed to be by the private swimming pool? Was it constructed with guard rails to make accidental slips far fetched? What do the regulations say?
I could go on. Both parents should do time in the rabbit hole to correct their mentality. Long time back that child should have been taken away from the wild parents by the State in compliance with the child rights act that stipulates the interest of the child as paramount.

The police should also interrogate the Baby Mamas wherever they are maybe one or more of them may have conspires with any of the domestic workers to commit this crime maybe after finding out that Davido will WILL his properties to the deceased. Though it's just an assumption sha,

And moreover they should have assigned a permanent maid that will always be accompanying the boy to wherever he goes. It is so very much sad. The little boy was very innocent and to me it was sheer negligence on the part of parents that cause this very huge loose to them

This thing na planned work...I can bet that the other baby mamas hand de for this matter ... he always displayed ifeanyi and was talking about marrying chioma thats not even from his tribe despite being the 3rd abi 4th baby mama...and na only she born man... men really don't know how evil women can be ... one of those baby mamas fit don pay domestic staff to execute this deadly act

What happened to Dbanjs son was were they got the Idea from... with all the Adults in the house and knowing fully well what happened to Dbanjs son recently.... they also took advantage of the video that came out when Davido was teaching him how to swim last week ... fear women oooo, the only gender that faced the devil and had discussion and agreed with the devil

People claiming that davido killed his son are very useless set of humans (not even worthy to be called humans)

Davido's problem is recklessness and carelessness. The guy is too busy drinking smoking and catching cruise he does not pay attention to the safety of himself and those around.

If you have guys that are always drinking ans smoking around you, you will understand what i am saying. How can you raise a 3 year old child in a house filled with irresponsible adults?

This thing is not spiritual. He just needs to grow up and stop moving around with irresponsible people.

Dont be surprised the nannies that were supposed to be watching the boy were busy chopping boli of the smokers (guys) in the house.

Money without common sense na this guy's problem

You better put pool in your house, abeg. Swimming is a good skill to have.

Just have a bunch of strict rules, and enforce them. Don't let the kids swim without an adult who can swim present. And invest in a swimming pool cover.

Same thing happened to dbanj some years back.
In my own opinion,I would say there is more to this,I won't say there is something diabolical about this,but it's not normal,upon all the security personnel around the house,the boy still ended inside the pool,dead.
Davido wey his crew members dey die anyhow like fowl.

So horrible, negligence and badluck combination, this is preventable...cover up private pool in your house and lock it with keys, only accessible to kids under strict supervision of Adults...it's so terrible to lose a toddler especially a child that have started calling you dad or mum..is heartbreaking...davido should chase away all this plenty useless Adults that live off him ,if they can't keep an eye on a kid of their boss ,they presence in his house is utterly disgusting
