Hehehe. I said it that every Pharaoh should be meeting their Waterloo. ASUU that is remembered whenever strike is mentioned will be thinking twice before embarking on any now.

Also think of how you sanitize yourselves and University community which breeds the crooks dealing with you.

Hope you know Ngige is an Igbo man, and he is the critical problem of this administration. What is Ngige motives in doing all these rubbishes?
So Ngige don’t have a boss. Why bringing Igbo in this case. Nawao. If Ngige wants to give Buhari a bad name let Buhari sack him. Is sacking not allowed

Who is the President of Nigeria? Does Ngige take arbitrary decision without the approval of the bastard in Aso rock feigning ignorance of what's happening?

If he can't sack an incompetent minister, then he is a failure as well as the party

What an uncommon wisdom...
This wisdom must have come from above...
I have always said this, ASUU has wasted almost a year of students life and expect itself to be paid in full.
FG, Ngige did the best thing, I can't pay any worker for deliberately refusing to work... Doing such is a taboo
maasoap:

The most terrible thing was lecturers going on strike for almost a year without even considering the plight of students and parents, with no sign of resumption before courts ordered them back to class.
Should they have been rewarded for going on strike for 8 months just like that, no stress? That will embolden them to go for straight 24 months strike knowing fully well that that their salary will be paid in full.
Even if government is going to pay them, they need to apologise to the students and parents

Na lazy people full the comment section ooo, this na the same people if their house maid or gateman work 14 days in a month and quit, they will bring out calculators and paper to start calculating 14 days money to pay.

ASSU should be taught a lesson that give and take is better than wasting 8 months of students lives. Any fool that wants to argue, first state the benefits of the 8 months strike besides the huge amount going to ASSU in next year budget.

All those shouting No work No pay, ask yourself, has Buhari and his entire cabinet been working in the past 7 years, and if you say yes, pray that everyone you pay service to do work for you to render it like Buhari and his cabinets are rendering to Nigerians and still getting paid.

Buhari and his cabinets are actually owing Nigerians for doing damage - they have no justification to owe the lecturers
Sorry

You don't need to excuse Ngige from the situation we are in. You can't know better than the ASUU chairman and is members that have been faulting Ngige since all this while.

All Labour ministers in the las 40 odd years have faced same criticism.

Shagari had 2 ministers of Labour: Adebisi Ogedengbe and later Emmanuel Osanmor. Same issues.

Or you forgot the difficulties Dr Samuel Ogbemudia faced under Abacha regime?
Nor be now dey break. Those who have been around a bit will know.

FG should make sweeping changes to how these negotiations are made and fulfil agreements signed.

Whether they call it Minister of Labour, Labour and Productivity or whatever, it has been a toothless bulldog over the years.

Does Buhari and his cabinet members work everyday? These guys are evil. They have destroyed Nigeria's education. I pity any single soul that will vote APC in 2023. Nigerians were warned in 2015 but they didn't listen. That's the same way we are warning them again now and they are shouting emilokan everywhere. He who has ears,.let him hear. If you want a new Nigeria,.its clear that Peter Obi and Datti Yususf of Labout party are thr team. If you like, vote based on ethnicity or religion, it will do yiu no good.

This APC led government has failed Nigerians, our children are home for almost a year now and they didn't fulfill there promise to pay the lecturer's there entitlement.

They want our children be home again.

Let's vote for Atiku and we will enjoy no strike again in Nigeria by the grace of God.

Atiku is the answer to Nigerians coming 2023.

First do you know why they went on strike?
And do you think they enjoy going on strike and starving for the duration of that strike?
Furthermore, you said they should apologize to students and parents, where do you think their own children are? Abroad?
You should be pointing fingers at your government for their obvious disregard for the educational sector.

This half salary ended up creating bad blood & did more harm than good.
What is full salary for a whole FG? Sometimes you need to make sacrifices in the spirit of peace & goodwill.

The Buhari's Boko Haram (Education Forbidden) regime places low priority on Education.
They are just playing ping-pong with the future of our youths.

Sir/Madam remain u thou, you can't make money with education it will only make u to be productive...!
Better learn hand work(Carpenter, plumbing, machenic)etc i think it will help than sticks to monthly alert.

In any sane society and in rules and regulations of International Labour Organization, it stated clearly that if you don't work, you can expect any payments...

In issues between ASSU and FG I didn't know agreement concluded on to call off the strike until when they revealed that one to public then one can know what to say.
