I understand Nairaland is now on wikipedia.  The entry appeared to be speedily deleted after some moderators believed Nairaland was not important and only relevant to Nigeria (which was dismissed as a "small country".

It seemed to have taken Jimmy Wales (founder of wikipedia) stepping in before it was restored.

There is no detailed information about the site. My observations are the outline needs to be well formed , the information should be detailed as possible, close to what the community really looks like and there has to be good history backings. I also think the very ideology behind the term Nairaland has to be well written out. And, many more important information.
