In fact, I'm surprised at people jubilating o. Confused sef.

How does any country just throw away 50 million dollars on another country's election affairs. Just like that!

The U.S give out billions of dollars in financial aid to so many countries on a yearly basis.

Hmmm What's the catch? That's the question we should be asking... Instead of celebrating. Cos US is alot of things but obviously not a 'good Samaritan'

America is a blood sucking parasite... As far as they are concerned? Nothing goes for nothing!

If you think they care about us that much to spend their taxpayers money on our "Negroid" ass and gain nothing greater in return then you should think again.

I can't trust the west for any reason.

From slavery to colonization... etc They have proven to be vultures that only survive off other people's carcass!

So whats the catch?
exactly nothing is really free

See Nigerians jubilating over this. You think this is free and it's because America loves Nigeria? Think again.

Don't be surprised when US starts determining who wins or loses elections in Nigeria going forward.

What they will gain is the stability of Africa most populous country and biggest economy. They see the possibility of the election snowballing into uprising and violence, but making it free and fair will douse any tension. Economically and Politically, USA benefits a lot from a stable Nigeria.

Alot of Nigerians are not informed about the history and politics of this world.

How is another country throwing 50million dollars towards your elections a good thing?

Who do black people this thing? God!

Those Nairaland-based fools who support Russian invasion of Ukraine shouldn't forget to tell us how much Russia is bringing to support Nigeria's elections.

In truth, education helps people to learn how to read, write and think, but it doesn't get rid of outright stupidity or sheer ignorance. Our world is safer under the United States than any other country.
Yeah Russia is not expecting anything from Nigeria in return, you think US spend money on your country without getting it back? Better think twice, it’s nothing goes for nothing there must be a price to pay, Russia is richly blessed with resources like we Nigerians the US are some of those people destroying our country secretly and come in public to act like they care so much it’s just a business opportunity for them.

Especially when they have uncountable number of homeless people littered all over their 52 states. Why not Use the money to build houses, pack them inside and start feeding them

You should be more worried that a foreign country is interfering in and funding the electoral process of the most populated black country on earth.

Most populated black country ruled by jihadists in the North. If USA intervention is going to bring about free and fair election, I support it.

Please think deep before you begin to castigate fellow Nigerians. If this so-called allocation to train INEC officials and journalists is sponsored by the government led Joe Biden and Democrat Party, it is safe to say this is meant to tutor the INEC officials how to perfect the rigging of election and journalists to fan embers of Wokeism. Nigerians must be wary of these silly handouts from globalists in US and Europe.

Don't you know that that money being allocated for the sole purpose as envisaged is a waste? Training ni, training fa'. As if it will play or have any significant inputs on the election outcome. Na waste resources jare'!

Maybe some of you are unaware that America owns our country and our leaders are only figure heads who covertly take orders from them and do their bidding.

Almost every winner of elections that America cares about in Nigeria are pre-selected by America and elections conducted and rigged to give the selected politician validity.

And you believe we need their trainings?
The money allocated to pay themselves for giving you trainings they know you will never use because you're not in want of correct knowledge but a heart willing to do good?

You go ahead to do the evil your heart is bent to do aided and abetted by them while they craftily take a shine off it.

Pure nonsense and deceit.

Will USA accept this form of foreign interference in their elections? Why do we Nigerians keep celebrating anything foreign without asking ourselves intrinsic questions? This is a country that have those who don't have excess to good tap water, communities celebrating having electricity for the first time few days ago. Yet here we are accepting such a whooping sum from them to aid our elections. Was this not sequel to what Russia did in their elections and we were at the verge of nuclear war and threats?. Don't we have shame as a country? Must we see everything as ops to loot?

Until we begin to reject trojan gifts of USA to our country, stand against it, our children children will keep being stooges and have testimonies shared in our various religious centres for "japaing". Imagine such effortenry. After teaching Russia, how to misbehave international, they will turn around to cry foul "as Saint wey dem be".

This is all shades of wrong for any foreign country to invest into another country's elections. This goes a long way to show that we are not yet independent. Why serve us what they can't accept?

Mental slavery is the bane of Nigerians- especially for those of you celebrating this feat without knowing that our fate as regards this election have been drafted and sealed by foreign nationals. Let's go and feel like sub-humans on election day.

Cheers to ostrich gift.

You must be out of your mind! Interference in electoral processes should never be tolerated. Shame on dumb minds like you, simple because you do not understand the role of bigger nations in influencing the electoral processes in Nigeria.
