Pls OP which soil type is suitable for the pawpaw farming?
I have a swampy area of land that I situated my pig farm but I think this pawpaw farm also can be beneficial in bringing shield to d farm as well as using the leaves to feed d pigs.

If these pawpaw trees don't produce fruit, who does it for them? Why do they have genders then? Don't pawpaw trees pollinate like other plants do?

Are they like dates?

The female Pawpaw is the best if there is a male one around it. The yield is enormous. There are pawpaw fruits all over the tree since any female flower produced is always pollinated.

I planted female paw paw without the male around it and it producing fruits.
There are species of paw paw that are moving well in the market, see the below pic

Woww! This is good. There's this insect that attacks our paw paw. Back in the days, my sister planted more than 20 paw paw tree but those white flying insects even after using different insecticides ehn they ended up infecting all the trees and died
