Minister without intelligence to understand that Nigeria's unitary government system which makes states depend mostly on federal allocations, thus making Nigerians dependent on doles from the federal government, is responsible for poverty in Nigeria. Buhari’s Minister- not surprised.

And the blame game goes on from the Fed to States, and then the blame will trickle to the LG and then communities, villages and families; this is the same APV no APC that promised to pull 100million people out of poverty!

Nigeria is such a joke.

Damnnn niggar

So what about federal government
All states collect monthly allocation in billions from FG and so many bailout and derivative.

What have they been doing with it ?

FG implemented programs like Npower, NJFP, NSIP, COVID loan, Farmers loan, Traders money and many others.

What are the states governors bringing to the table ?

You can't elect Ikpeazu, Ortom, Okowa, Obaseki or Yaya Bello and start cursing FG.

Even if Obama is our president, some governors are not worthy of SUG SOCIAL DIRECTOR

So true. Those lots only collect money, pay state government workers ridiculous percentage salaries, neglect the local government workers and loot the rest with their cronies.

Someone like Yahaya Bello is the worst. Imagine paying someone on level 10, just 6000.
I wonder how these thieves sleep at night.

The governors don't think outside the box, all they know is to see the people's money as their own.

Bello practically for example treats Kogi state allocation as his personal money.

All the local government chairmen are stark illiterates inside bello's armpit.

No roads, very poor and dilapidated primary and secondary schools. No pipe borne water, no light, nothing.
You are so dumb with your fake poorly edited screenshot.

You don’t have anything to blame again. Is my father you are to blame for Nigeria’s poverty.
I thought the federal government is in charge of fiscal and monetary policies of Nigeria or is my father?

Awon Werey. You came in 2015 that you'd provide 3m jobs for our youths annually. Tinubu said it loudly during their campaign,...Lori iro

Buhari came to lagos and said during a town hall meeting that he'd stop political office holders from seeking medical treatments abroad. The last time we checked, he's number one customer of UK hospitals. Ordinary ear infection, he that's abroad

As if that wasn't enough, apc came under 3 focal points...fighting insecurity, fighting corruption and improving the economy. The last time I checked, one DG under the apc stole over 100bn and is still walking freely in the street. Diezani now has a master. Boko haram annexed north west under the same failed apc. Today, we know how much a dollar is.

They said they'd improve agriculture but they asked the cbn who has no business in disbursing loan to give loans to a selected few up north on approval of buhari. Whereas, our youths they called last had fish ponds rice farms, etc which they financed by themselves.

I'm still waiting to see how the apc would win next year. People beg for money on the streets daily, including urchins. Those who have your phone number wouldn't let you rest. You end up sharing what you have with them by the time they end their story. God pls forgive us. Apc is a failure. We don't want them again.

Thank God for your sincere & total liberation from their evil spell.

Indeed, a new Nigeria shall emerge by God's grace together with our conscious decision comes 2023.

For now, Obi-Datti of LP still remain our best option if we are ready to get out of the woods.

Lol..

I what to believe he's talking about farming. But, how is real farming possible when the Federal government place priority on cows over human lives? "the harders come get level sotey..."They will not allow people to Farm in peace again

U are just deliberately narrowing your scope of thinking&reasoning.

How did you narrow all he insinuated to Farming?

Are there not several other forms of developments that can be exteneted to rural areas of which some of them could reduce the poverty in those areas?

Seconded, until those thieves governors that wield power more than even the president are check mated and made to account to every penny, Nigeria would never develop. The truth is that governors are the problem of Nigeria, whoever that's blaming the federal government is not telling himself the truth. Immunity clause has to be removed from them for proper arrest and prosecution. Their modus operandi: Steal state funds meant to develop the state, intimidate local government chairmen that would bring governance to the grassroot, then hide in senate to be protected from prosecution. Who is fooling who?

Buhari policies like closing of borders, importation of adulterated fuel, dollars appreciating against naira by 100+ percent and co is the major reason why we are in poverty

What contribute 50% of poverty in Nigeria is LGA that they didn't allow to function? Recognise local government as unit of government and their elections move to federal INEC. Call me a bastard if poverty level is not reduced drastically within 5years.
