Those governors are totally useless. Always waiting for federal government for everything.......no doubt about it, the federal government has failed. But the governors need to do the necessary as well.

If all 36 states are not performing then restructure the system to make them productive. The govt finally realize poverty cannot be denied so shift the blame. When Adeboye suggested restructuring, Buhari called it threat.

Awon Werey. You came in 2015 that you'd provide 3m jobs for our youths annually. Tinubu said it loudly during their campaign,...Lori iro

Buhari came to lagos and said during a town hall meeting that he'd stop political office holders from seeking medical treatments abroad. The last time we checked, he's number one customer of UK hospitals. Ordinary ear infection, he that's abroad

As if that wasn't enough, apc came under 3 focal points...fighting insecurity, fighting corruption and improving the economy. The last time I checked, one DG under the apc stole over 100bn and is still walking freely in the street. Diezani now has a master. Boko haram annexed north west under the same failed apc. Today, we know how much a dollar is.

They said they'd improve agriculture but they asked the cbn who has no business in disbursing loan to give loans to a selected few up north on approval of buhari. Whereas, our youths they called last had fish ponds rice farms, etc which they financed by themselves.

I'm still waiting to see how the apc would win next year. People beg for money on the streets daily, including urchins. Those who have your phone number wouldn't let you rest. You end up sharing what you have with them by the time they end their story. God pls forgive us. Apc is a failure. We don't want them again.

It's a CASE of "CUNNING MAN DIE CUNNING MAN BURY HIM".
We say restructure, the FG says no. That they must control everything. Keep on controlling and we keep on watching

Fact, till Nigerians start looking at their state governors and stoning them till they stop stealing all their state's allocations, their suffering will continue.

Thank God for your sincere & total liberation from their evil spell.

Indeed, a new Nigeria shall emerge by God's grace together with our conscious decision comes 2023.

For now, Obi-Datti of LP still remain our best option if we are ready to get out of the woods.

Obi is no option oga.. Tell us how Obi's 8 years has affected anambra youths, that the people are insulated from suffering. Where people not hungry and suffering during his 8 years? How has Datti affected katsina people since his birth? Una go just open mouth wa.. Is our best option.. Oga he is no option.. Some of us know anambra well and will not play your tribalist ich game.. Obi no fit do any thing differently from what he did in Anambra.. Nigeria deserves more

Who we go blame now ,state govt understand that the people want to see bridges and flyover ,roads etc and will even borrow money to do this. The governor do not focus on the immediate needs of people ,food ,shelter etc . Governor wud do everything in their power in their first tenure to build infrastructure and in second tenure relax and loot and the people keep suffering.our local govt have failed ,the local govt are closer to d people than the state ,the state is closer to the people than the federal. The Nigerian structure is not working as it shud. All tiers of govt have their own share of the blame. All Nigerian politicians are same .You don't change peoples life over night but consistently thru well laid down plan across all tiers of govtment .Magic dont happen overnight

Lazy thinker, what is the difference between regional & state system of government?

Under the region you have the Federal, under the state you also have the Federal Government.

The regions control the resources in the concurrent list, the Federal controls the resources in the exclusive list, same with the state system of government, where The States control the resources in the concurrent list, the Federal controls the resources in the exclusive list.

A failure will always find an excuse for their failure.

Lack of local government autonomy, lack of constant electricity supply, refineries not working, agriculture sector is not working, not providing a conducive environment for bussinesses to strive, multiple taxation , not restructuring the country..all this caused poverty....80% blame on the federal government and 20% blame on the state government

You started excellently, but ended poorly, Nigeria’s problem is that the most important tier of government, the local governments which is in the individual states of the federation is not functioning based on their comparative advantages.

If they were functioning accordingly, no one in a Local Government of a state, will care who the president in Abuja is, the Governor of the state will play the role in that stead.

The foolish people that inserted in the constitution that state governments will be the ones to conduct local government elections are the people that don’t want Nigeria to move forward.

80% blame on the State government and 20% blame on the Federal government.

Kindly Google non oil exports in Nigeria, you will discover Agricultural is one of them, even the private individuals are doing this business a lot.

I wonder why State Governors can't use their allocated resources to start this non oil exports so that the prices of goods can be reduced in the market.

I didn't know that it is the responsibility of state governments to maintain the price of food items or the price of fuel, not to talk of inflation in general. At least, think before you accuse someone of opening mouth.

....that is why I mentioned local government autonomy...local government should be active...the state government should allow the local government money allocation go direct to the local government...the state government is greedy and selfish with this joint account with the local government...they divert some of the local government money to their pocket and give the local government small money... Nigerians should protest and agitate for local government autonomy ... because with local government autonomy the villages, communities will be well developed... governance will get to the poor people in the rural areas and villages...

Buhari's ministry of Blaming Others is in full gear whenever he's faced with a problem.
For 6 years, he blamed GEJ
Then SE for their 5%
Then Biafra for making him suffer during the civil war.
Then ipob/NK, even when NK is under his custody.
Then lazy youths
Then Oduduwa agitators
Then 'enemies 'of the people stealing oil, even he is minister of petroleum.
Now, governors.
Next, LGA chairm
Next poor, hungry, and unemployed Nigerians, because they're just too poor.

On earth, there is no excuse for failure, if you fail honorably admit that you failed on your promises, it is this government that blame others for their failure. Secondly, state government you blaming are not responsible for economic direction of our nation it is you. Thirdly, no visibly economic team, every minister takes decision that suit their pocket, that is VAT was increased by 50% they did not know that the consequences is poverty for the people, like every services provided by this government were also increased by at 50%, these include; electricity, gas. Fuel, diesel, custom duties, banning importation of rice when we can't produce what we need locally. All the above mentioned policy and others, has taken away citizens real income thereby subjected us to poverty.
