beans beans beans, i love beans but the aftermath is always like boko haram blast . A doctor told me to always add much onions to the beans when cooking it so that the mess can come out with ease and won't spoil the air unlike what it used to be where I myself can't withstand the smell and it worked, lol |

@poster, you are contradicting yourself. You said the longer one cooks beans the better, why then do you discourage the use of salt which according to you slows down the softening process of beans? |

I ate beans to death while at the University, now i can hardly stand it except as ewa iganyin and eat it with Agege bread. I just make plenty and store in the deep freezer and thaw it out, as per the gas thing, well its part of what makes life fun. I just do it alone or with people i am super comfortable with. |

It is true that the initial cost of such a car is generally higher than a similarly-sized conventional vehicle, but there are post-purchase savings that may off-set the initial outlay. |

Re: How To Avoid The "gas" Effect Of Beans by Kay1kay1(m): 10:56am On Jan 24, 2012 |
East: You mean potash or limestone? @ labalaba Great hints. Thanks. The best guarantee for me has been pouring garri on the beans. At least, that way I know I'm not a walking spraycan. I'm still wary of the onion thing. From gas, it becomes gas express. |
Re: How To Avoid The "gas" Effect Of Beans by Nobody: 12:10pm On Jan 24, 2012 |
Kay1kay1: Thanks dear. I dont know whether itz call limestone or potash. but itz like a stone that melts, some are even sold in the form of powder. Hope this helps in identifying it. |
