How Can You Use 2.5 Billion Naira For Christmas Party While Ebonyi Civil Servants Are Crying? - Odoh Fumes | #IgbereTV The Governorship Candidate of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Professor Benard Odoh has assured civil servants in the state that he will put smiles on their faces come 2023. Odoh made this known in an interview granted to a radio station in Ebonyi State monitored by IgbereTV. Odoh said Ebonyi has what it takes to take care of the welfare of the civil servants in the state but misplaced priority is what is killing the state. Recall that recently, Ebonyi State mapped out billions of Naira for Christmas Party in the State. Odoh, however, said in his administration, that the welfare of civil servants in Ebonyi State will not be jeopardised. According to him, "How can the state government map out 2.5 Billion Naira For Christmas Party while civil servants in the state have not been paid for four months now". "This is misplaced priority. That amount of money can clear the salaries being owed to civil servants in the state", Odoh said. STAY WITH IGBERE TV. APC style of governance, they build infrastructure people cannot use because of insecurity and poverty. Buhari taking billion dollar loans claiming to build infrastructure while his people are eating grass to survive in the same Nigeria... 2 Likes |

This is what Dave Nweze Umahi has turned Ebonyi into since he miraculously came into government despite the opposition of then governor Marthin Elechi to his candidature even when he stayed put in PDP. Now, he is on seat and has became a despotic tyrant wasting State funds on fanciful bridges, roundabouts, non-viable Airport while Ebonyians are languishing in abject poverty and penury. |

In as much as I don't support APC, Umahi has done his best in all ramifications. He's the first governor to carry out mass recruitment of his people into the civil service since 1999. He pays his workers 13 months every year since he assumed office. This young man shouldn't blackmail Umahi because he wants to succeed him. Besides, it was his untimely ambition to unseat Umahi in 2019 that made him resigned his post as the SSG under same Umahi. The daft simply overrated himself and Umahi will see to it he never becomes a governor. Opposition should stop distracting hardworking public servants. Obaseki of my state is also a case study. |

Superwave16320:so what has the flyover brought to the people that re hungry and jobless, why not build factories, revitalise nkalagu cement company that will create millions of jobs, how many cars uses the flyovers at nkalagu or abomege junction, misplaced priorities, since 2015 ebonyi state govt ,has, not paid pension, gratuity or given employments, people re so mentally poor that they celebrate mediocrity, a goverror built a medical school with state funds and the least school fees is about 2 million per section,80% of ebonyians can not send their kids to that school, it's a pity, sheep likes begets woflikes as leaders |
