Yes you are right - she could be shot and killed in a foreign country.

But there are countries and there are countries.

There are some Asian (Japan for example) and European (Norway for example) countries where firearm related homicides (be it from police or from civilians) are very low. It just doesn't happen often there.

And then you have a North American country (yes I am talking about the USA) where its easier to get a gun than an education and sky high firearm related homicides are part of the culture.
