Does anyone know what chipset omatek laptops run, or what soundcard they use in particular?

I'm looking at this laptop and all i see is omatek. No model number, no nothing.

Any idea where to get drivers for omatek laptops?

look under the Notebook and check the model
eg: if your model is M3s: you will find all the drivers in http://www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/download.asp
or look under for the product code: eg. M350S and search through google.

Also Omatek's are actually from CLEVO so go to www.clevo.com.tw/en/e-services/download.asp

I see TI-550 under the laptop, but its not on the Clevo list. Even the M3 u mentioned is not there.

Could it be Lenovo?

Searched google. The driversup page just displays it as incoming search term, the torrent sites cant be trusted either.

Was hoping to get the manufacturer or driver name so i know what i'm downloading.

try online installing of driver from your device manager, it will automatically download and fixed missing drivers. If that did not work, i m afraid, you ll hv to visit their office.
