JUST GOT AN OFFER WITH KPMG, AM ALSO EXPECTING OFFER FROM NNPC.

dunno when NNPC will pull tru though. should i take up the KPMG or just wait for NNPC. an very sure of getting it.

I will advice u first take d offer from kpmg, u can later accept d offer from nnpc when u get it

i recently resumed @ deloitte but i could hold on to my hopes 4 nnpc. Personally, i'd go for any of d big 4 cos u become globally attractive & d opportunities are limitless depending on how far u intend. U could later even end up in nnpc, shell etc but not d other way round. Ever heard of a commercial/art student crossing 2 science class? Lolzzzz but if ur an engineer & passionate bout it go 2 nnpc

What if NNPC doesn't come through?


I was in similar dilemma some 3 years ago. Undergoing recruitment process in 2 oil companies, one a Naija-owned but going international, the other a well known MNC. The Naija one had a fast recruitment process and I was given letter to come and resume the day the MNC scheduled the final stage for me. The MNC pays more than double the Naija company offered me, but that is already a bird in hand. If I rejected the Naija offer, but fluffed the final stage of that higher-paying MNC, I would have missed both. If I rejected it and went ahead to pass the MNC final stage, I would surely have had fatter net worth today. 2 of my friends also got to that final stage but only one made it.

But unlike my own where both are in same sector, give consideration to your career goal here. KPMG is a good training ground.

No, let him be pitying KPMG. @ poster please keep waiting for NNPC so that someone else can take ur place. Shey u said u were 100% certain of NNPC? Would it harm u if you go to KPMG, earn salary, receive training and might end up prefering to work there
