I was talking with a friend about this topic last week, and he passionately opposed marrying a Nigerian woman and taking her to a western country, arguing that she would become accustomed to western culture and use the law against him.
He cited the experience of his uncle who selected a young girl from the village, brushed her up, and trained her in a nursing program in America, after getting  lucrative job in the USA, she entirely changed from the person he knew previously.
The guy is a womanizer though, and I suspect that might be the reason why he doesn't want to bring his wife over because no woman would tolerate that abroad.
I would like to hear your opinion about this topic.
Though I am always in support of living with my wife wherever we decide to stay when I marry.

If general Overseers are having marital problems, I don't think any woman should be trusted. In fact, the Bible curses anyone who trust in his or her fellow human (Jeremiah 17:5).

I will advise any and every man to TEST his wife, even if she has kids for you, before travelling out with her.

If God can test Job, a perfect man, who is your wife?

I doubt I can marry any woman who is not a Nigerian.
I have tested white women and I really prefer nice a Nigerian for marriage.
In my own personal opinion, white women are more direct, less demanding and more fun for short time relationship and sexual excapedes, but Nigerian women are more tolerating, generally tougher and can maintain a longer relationship than an average white girl.

White girls mostly seem to get fed up in a relationship faster than an average Nigerian and sue for divorce when you least expect it.
But there are exceptions to this. I know many Nigerians happily married to Germans for over 20years, but I have seen more failed interracial marriages than successful ones within my three years in Germany.

Funny enough, if you leave your wife here, boys will help you and be changing oil.

So choose your poison carefully grin

I have a simple assignment for you.
Check the divorce rate of Nigerians and divorce rate of Germans or Americans then you would never compare Nigerians and the whites when it comes to marriage stability.

In America, an average marriage doesn't last upto 20yrs.
Average o o o.
White people don't see divorce as devastating as many Nigerians see it.
There is an incomparable divorce rate between Nigerians and the whites

Being married to an American girl for just 3 years is far better than being married to a Nigerian girl for 30 years.

One is an Asset while the other is a Liability.

My thought exactly, though it depends on the woman. She can be coming over regularly to visit you anytime she wishes and you spoil her with money and get her a car to cruise around with.
Some Nigerian girls are very decent and would never cheat on their husband especially when you treat her well and provide her with enough cash to take care of some personal things even without her asking.

Dear Basalt, there's nothing wrong in taking your wife with you to overseas or any man to take his wife abroad. It's even a wise investment cos double income ll be coming into the home.
However, your point above is the reason why the village girl rebel against her husband and why most women changed to their husband in abroad.
Nigerian law permits adultery without punishment for men. Many has taken the advantage to treat their wives anyhow. So...it's not really the fault of women.

You saw where he said the guy is a womaniser.
Dunno why some of you are so evil. You ll serve women dishes you can't eat.
Anyman that's not clean and is labelling Nigerian women with bad names with eat sour and drink sour, amen!
