God Condemned Slavery! 7 Bible Verses Against Slavery. by Dtruthspeaker: 11:10am On Feb 04, 2023
Without a doubt slavery is evil and seeing that God hates all evil, it is insane and blasphemous that any one should say that He condoned slavery, where in fact He Spoke against it and HE IS EVEN THE ONLY GOD WHO COMMANDED THAT SLAVES MUST BE FREED.

Thus, here are 7 Pronouncements which show that God Condemned and Prohibited Slavery.

Can you point out one verse in your fairytale that castigated slavery? Just one.

I will give you 7.

1) Leviticus 19:18 "Thou shall not steal (whether persons or things. Exodus 20:15/17 expanded its scope) neither deal falsely".

It is dealing falsely to take a houseboy/girl for service which is what you told their lawful Masters (parents) only for you to turn them to slaves in your house and beating and evil treating them.

2) Leviticus 25:17 "Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God:"

3) Exodus 23:9 "Thou shalt not oppress a stranger:

4) Exodus 20:21 "Thou shalt neither vex a stranger nor oppress him:

5) Exodus 20:22 "ye shall not afflict ...a fatherless child".

6) Exodus 23:2 "Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil:"

7) Exodus 23:6 "Thou shalt not wrest the judgement of thy poor in his cause"

He said to release slave after they have suffered for 6 years, getting thrashed, whipped, dehumanized. It's just like a girl who has an abusive boyfriend...

The word "who has'' already shows you that this is what God met on ground when He came to meet and deal with the people of Israel, exactly as when a man dealing with a man who is accustomed to having more than one wife.

So, they had already taken slaves and used to having slaves before God came to meet them exactly as Africa was already used to having more than one wives before God was introduced to us and now having one wife is part of our living.

So this is God laying the first form of attack against slavery BY RELEASING ALL SLAVES WHO HAVE BEEN TAKEN BEFORE HIS COMING, WHICH AS YOU CAN SEE BY THE TIME OF THE JUDGES, YOU DO NOT REALLY SEE ANY SLAVE AROUND, ONLY CONTRACTS OF SERVICE,

WHAT A GREAT GOOD GOD WHO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE FROM EVIL PEOPLE

Numbers 31:17-18
So now, kill all the boys, as well as every woman who has had relations with a man, but spare for yourselves every girl who has never had relations with a man.

All boys/men are killed.

All women who had previously had sex were killed. (I still wonder what instrument was used to do this- Sexometer or Vaginometer)

Only virgins were spared!

Numbers 31:35
and 32,000 women who had not slept with a man.

How was this known? Will they have to open them up and use a speculum as in HVS test or what?

Yahweh gets a share of 32 Virgins!
Numbers 31:40
and 16,000 people, including a tribute to the LORD of 32.

No doubt, God is not the author of confusion or nonsense!
Far is He from what they ascribed to Him.

It's just like a girl who has an abusive boyfriend. After r@ping and beating the shit outta her, the guys friend (yhwh) would tell the guy, "after 7 years you can release her", what happened to blasting the guy, telling him off that he's wrong, harassing him about his wrongdoing, even reporting to the police if possible. And then the friend turns to the abused girl and says"Please suck his dick properly, don't be disobedient. When he says jump outta the window, do it quickly head first etc"

Here are your fairytale verses about slavery

Leviticus 25:44-46
44 “ ‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves

Exodus 21:20-21
20 “Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result,
21 but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property

Titus 2:9-10
9 Teach slaves to be subject to their masters in everything, to try to please them, not to talk back to them

5 Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ

22 Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.

1 All who are under the yoke of slavery should consider their masters worthy of full respect, so that God’s name and our teaching may not be slandered

18 Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh

Oh what a loving god cheesy

I wish y'all theists would be a lil bit knowledgeable and smart, and stop displaying ignorance . Putin is a Christian, so was Hitler. I dont know what or who Medevevel is. Maybe it was an error on your part.

This is an excerpt from Putin's biography

Putin is Russian Orthodox. His mother was a devoted Christian believer who attended the Russian Orthodox Church, while his father was an atheist.Though his mother kept no icons at home, she attended church regularly, despite government persecution of her religion at that time. His mother secretly baptized him as a baby, and she regularly took him to services.

According to Putin, his religious awakening began after a serious car crash involving his wife in 1993, and a life-threatening fire that burned down their dacha in August 1996. Shortly before an official visit to Israel, Putin's mother gave him his baptismal cross, telling him to get it blessed. Putin states, "I did as she said and then put the cross around my neck. I have never taken it off since."

When asked in 2007 whether he believes in God, he responded: "There are things I believe, which should not in my position, at least, be shared with the public at large for everybody's consumption because that would look like self-advertising or a political striptease." Putin's rumoured confessor is Russian Orthodox Bishop Tikhon Shevkunov.

"May have" already tells you. Not a "shall have".

And this statement also shows you that they had no boundaries in enslaving. Anyone could be enslaved.

So of course this the first step of removing slavery which is by removing the log in their own eye first, hence why I told you "of the Hebrew first".

The children of the house must be the first to be free.

And as you can see by the time of the judges, you do not see any slave in Isreal whether of Hebrew or of other nations.

Where did He say "and take slaves"?

Leviticus 25:44-46
New International Version
44 “‘Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves. 45 You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property. 46 You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly.

There are at least seven passages in the Bible where God is depicted as directly permitting or endorsing slavery. Two of these are in the Law of Moses: God permitted the Israelites to take slaves from conquered peoples permanently, and the Israelites could sell themselves into slavery temporarily to pay off debts (Exod 21:2-11; Lev 25:44-46). The other five passages are in the New Testament, where slavery as a social institution is endorsed and slaves are called to obey their masters “in everything” (Eph 6:5-9; Col 3:22-4:1; 1 Tim 6:1-2; Tit 2:9-10; 1 Pet 2:18-20).

But slavery is viewed positively in Scripture well beyond these commands. Owning slaves was seen as a sign of God’s blessing (Gen 12:16; 24:35; Isa 14:1-2), and there are literally dozens of passages in the Bible that speak of slavery in passing, without comment. Slavery was simply part of life, and most people saw it as just the way things always were, even the divinely ordained order of things. And yes, in case there is any doubt, this was real slavery: “the slave is the owner’s property” (Exod 21:21). Both Old and New Testaments called for better treatment of slaves than many of the peoples around them, and the Law of Moses in particular called for better treatment of fellow Israelites as slaves. But slaves could be beaten (Exod 21:20-21; 1 Pet 2:18-20), and slaves could be taken as concubines (Gen 16:3-4; Exod 21:8-11) or even raped without serious consequence (Lev 19:20-22).

These passages are all pretty straightforward. One could even say that the Bible is clear on this: the institution of slavery is permitted by God, endorsed by God, and owning slaves can even be a sign of God’s blessing.

What Is Daniil Medvedev Religion?
Daniil Medvedev’s religion is Christianity. Daniil Medvedev is a Russian professional men’s tennis player.

On February 11, 1996, he was born in Moscow, Russia’s capital and largest city. On March 15, 2021, the right-handed tennis sensation achieved a career-high ranking of World No.2.

Medvedev has two older sisters, Julia and Elena, who are 12 and 8 years his senior.

His mother noticed an advertisement for group tennis lessons at the pool where he took swimming lessons when he was six years old.

Aside from sports, Daniil’s other childhood interests included harpsichord and guitar lessons.

And if you could read properly, you'll see in that article I posted on Putin that he said specifically he's a Russian Orthodox Church and he still wears his church pendant his mom gave him. Do you think an atheist would wear it?

Putin Personal Faith

Putin has been keen to present himself as a man of serious personal faith. This is a trend that has seemed to become more pronounced throughout his time in office. Cynics suggest that the increasingly confident assertion of faith is part of a broader trend of seeking a nationalist agenda as economic performance declined. However, even relatively early in his presidency Putin had spoken at times about his faith and had already formed an apparently close bond with certain members of the clergy in the early 2000s, when his popularity was at its peak.

In early meetings with then US President George Bush, Putin certainly made much of his personal faith, showing off the small aluminium cross that he wore round his neck and making much of his Christian commitment. Bush was by all accounts certainly impressed – relating the account of the meeting in his book Decision Points.[xiv] Bush, of course, was famous for his own evangelical faith and it is entirely possible that Putin emphasised this precisely to win a friend in the US president. However, the story of this little baptismal cross is one which Putin has highlighted on several occasions and figures prominently in a passage from the biography
