Adedibu was just an illiterate old politician using thugs to intimidate politicians or government for selfish interests. He has no political influence/values outside Ibadan, let alone other states. I've also read about his open and brash demand for compensation as the political kingmaker of Ibadan.

I always pass the beautiful Arisekola mosque at Idi-Ape. It's nice knowing the man behind the edifice.

I also understand a little why current Governor Seyi Makinde has another Lamidi by his side.
