Two Things Learned On Traveling For Elections On Naira Scarcity & Elections by yemex04(m): 6:41am On Feb 25, 2023
So for the purpose of Election I traveled more than 200km, approximate 4hrs,30mins drive to Itesiwaju Local Government area of Oyo State.

The Lessons

1. On Naira Scarcity; The inhabitants of all the LGs in Oke Ogun are not finding the Policy easy at all.. they are the worst hit! This is due to the fact that there businesses are mostly cash base & there are very few Banks, infact you can drive hours without seeing Banks here. Also majority can't even read or write & yet before now they have been engaging in trading & all sorts of petty Businesses to earn their Living.. Now these businesses have crumbled! They are seriously living in hunger.. In Saki, another sub urban community in Oke-Ogun have devised alternative by using Benin Republic's CFA for trading, this is because the francophone Country is sharing border with the Town.. In any case, those of us blindly supporting the Policy the way currently implemented, we have to realize that Nigera isn't just about the few of us that litterate enough to engage in online transactions, we have more those who can read or write to engage in the Policy & Nigera belong to us & them.. Any such Policy should normally have their peculiarities addressed, I can say boldly that while this Policy was being planned, the Thoughts of these rural community dwellers never came to the minds of the originators or just wickedness just to achieve a wicked Objectives.

2. On the Presidential & National Assembly Elections
The millions of people here have a unique way of Voting, the thing is irrespective of Party affiliation, they have decided to cast their Votes for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu ,Shina Peller's Accord will give Sen. Fatai Buhari's APC a good run for their monies here.. I won't even be surprised of he wins the senatorial elections.. But where all the Parties are having concessors is on Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

On Peter Obi?

Honestly,99% of people here do not know about him here, this is the Reality..

Are u voting in Oke Ogun/Ibarapa?

What's your experience on Naira Scarcity & the Voting Patterns?
