...says it was a decision of Nigerian voters not Tinubu's

Adamawa Senator Abubakar Girei, the Sardauna Girei said the victory of the All Progressives Congress, APC, as the political platform that won the just concluded Presidential election with Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu as its Presidential candidate is a victory for all Nigerians.

He therefore advised Atiku Abubakar Presidential candidate of PDP and his counterpart in Labor Party to concede defeat because it was Nigerians voices, views and decision that was translated to winning votes for Tinubu and Shettima.

Girei availed his Statement to our Yola correspondent on behalf of his Family and his constituency, congratulated the President Elect, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President Elect, Kashim Shettima for winning the election against all odds.

"I wish them a very successful tenure as they unfold their Renewed Hope Agenda intended to Transform our dear Nation to greatness. I have no doubt Nigerians will see better days ahead and our future generations will witness more peace, unity and prosperity." Girei said

He said accepting defeat by the duo Presidential candidates, Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi will no doubt strengthens democracy in Nigeria as the election loudly expressed God's will by Nigerians.

"They should congratulate the winner and support them in order to allow peace to reign. By so doing they stand a better chance of being appreciated by Nigerians as true democrats.

"Once again I congratulate all Nigerians and thank the Almighty Allah for seeing us through this major event in our rich history." He stated
