I am just going through a lot of the Labour Party Candidates from all over the country. Their average age seems to range from thirty to forty-five(30-45yrs).

What got me thinking is the high level of older and aged people fronting and dominating the other major parties. Many are so old they can't sit down for interviews and can't stand for debates. What is even more funny and weird is the high number of younger people defending and fighting on their behalf Online and off.

Do you know that Nigeria is more than sixty years since Independence and it has never had a President and Vice born after the Independence? Figure that one out!

Do not bring up that old stale tale of "Nigerian youths are not serious" crap.
Big Brother Nigeria, Nigeria's most popular realize TV show aired twice within three months during the Presidential campaigns and it seems as if such show never even existed. Almost all public and political analysts predicted Nigerian youths will be very distracted by the TV show we would forget an election was coming up.

Big Brother Nigeria aired the first time and it was a flop, they went even further to air a second spin-off in a short time, featuring South Africa. Even with the over the top marketing and larger than life hype, the second show is heading to an even bigger flop.

Nigerian Youths doesn't seem lazy and uninformed to me, but rather disenfranchised, deprived and highly denied the opportunity to get involved and be involved. They rather have us begging for crumbs, singing their praises and being used as tools for their self-interests. Just as we seem to be doing right now!

Yet their children are all exclusively schooling, living and making waves outside the country, cause they can!
