Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State yesterday approved the release of 2021 and 2022 promotion list for civil servants in the state.

The beneficiaries were eligible civil servants across the state’s Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) who participated in the promotion exercise conducted by Enugu State Civil Service Commission (ESCSC) in November 2022.

Announcing the release of the promotions, the Chairman of ESCSC, Mr. Robinson Odo, stated that “about 3,089 civil servants on salary grade levels 04 to 16 benefited from the promotions.”

Mr. Odo disclosed that the promotion exercise “was in fulfillment of Governor Ugwuanyi's earlier promise to clear all backlogs of promotions for civil servants in the state.”

The ESCSC Chairman added that the exercise followed due process, explaining that promotional examination was conducted in written form for the eligible staff, followed by oral interview held at the commission’s premises.

He reiterated Governor Ugwuanyi administration’s commitment to the welfare of civil servants and thanked all those who worked round the clock to ensure that the promotion exercise was successful.

When you have opportunity to work as a governor you won't work only to start approving and giving jobs at die minutes to create problem to your successor..

Honestly I wonder why an elected governor won't won't work

People like godswil Akpabio ,wike etc ....no matter how stupid they become because of thier selfish reason will still be loved by thier people

Good day to all nairalanders, it came to my notice that at the middle of 1st term a new law was introduced to the school by an administrator who knows nothing about administration asking all parents to make payment of 2,000naira for just toiletries of which when parents met during the PTA meeting the PTA chairman and all parents were against the introduction of monetization of toiletries but rather insisted that the former process should continue, which is physically giving the school 2 tissues,1 soap and 2 Dettol but instead the Administrator choose to isolate the children and taking them to an isolated hall while their colleagues are learning in the classes and they think by humiliating the Children that they will get the 2,000naira which they are imposing on parents as if that is not enough some kids from other parents have not been issued their results for first term because of toiletries and the administrator even breached the oral agreement that was agreed btw parents and the mgt in regards to increment on bus fair which was the reasons for bus increment but rather the administrator went ahead to increase school bus fair without informing parents nor even keeping to the agreements and the school is in rivers state in Elele. Pls my fellow nairalanders what can we do to the mgt of this school as i need your advices and want this post to get to the frontpage.

Ok, he is the chief architect of PDP's woes in Enugu now. He just carry Enugu and put in the hands of God, and went to sleep. I wish Enugu can just do away with PDP for now.

Even if they delay given Obi president, at least for the first time in Nigeria, elected people are now sitting up to know if they don't perform first time, no second tenure. History will never forget obi. APC , PFP and ELUU P will never forget him in a hurry. This is the country we all have been praying for a better governance
