We live in lagos and we know and saw what happened. There's no democracy in nigeria. Lagosians were not allowed to vote for their choice. This cannot be called an election but imposition of candidates. If free and fair election is conducted in nigeria and lagos, apc cannot win. They know that's why they are afraid of their shadow.

Exactly, they no born dem well to win...they come here and say they own lagos bullshit, make una just dey play

This man Abiola u are showing that he won election in South East is not a Yoruba man but Igbo, he said Abiola is his nickname and not real name.
Don't be deceived.
But you people has been threatening Yorubas online, what happened on Saturday was election and show of strength.
Go and face your origin, there are election irregularities there too

It is only people with brain tumors or psychopaths that will not vote for Sanwo-olu.
How could u substitute an outstanding n performing governor to someone that has never tested any political or administrative post before? It's very annoyed seeing some brainwashed people talking. Anyway I concurred with Mr Bayo Osonuga. U can't come and deranged the progressive state as u did to your own state.
I pity LaSG that FG is not helping them. There should be check and balance in migration to Lagos, they are straining the state beyond imagination. Pitiably they still accommodate u with your wahala

LP gave a good fight in this election , they should maintain their momentum and serve as a stiff opposition offering constructive criticisms.
I see it capturing many States in future elections.
Re: INEC Declares Sanwo-Olu Winner In Lagos by Niorte: 7:04am On Mar 20, 2023
The election was massively rigged.

There was voters apathy and many people were disenfranchised yet the number of votes for the state election was still equivalent to the presidential election.

This is ridiculous.

We are happy Sanwo-Olu won, but the manner of his winning is rather crude and illegitimate.

Sanwo-Olu was voted in only by the Yorubas, so he is the Governor of the Yoruba for the Yorubas.

Igbos should as a matter of urgency form their own association in Lagos that will be able to bargain with any government in Lagos and they should speak with one voice.

So many Igbos were disenfranchised yet the results does not show that.

Wetin Hausa man like me Sabi?

Congratulations to him.

It is a fact, that, Peter Obi's achievements in Eight years as Anambra State Governor, does not match Babajide Sanwo-Olu's Two years in office.

As a matter of fact, only the Red Rail (Train) Line From Agbado to Oyingbo is BIGER than all Peter Obi's Projects.

Go and verify.

APC carried the entire Lagos on a Xenophobic ride and it was indeed a sad moment in Nigeria's history.

There was no difference between what happens in South Africa and what happened in Lagos this time.

It's even ironic to think that the main inciters of this Xenophobic journey don't even have their families in Nigeria, in the case of a situation where things get crazy, they will be the first to flee, leaving ordinary folk to handle the mess they created.

Unity was attacked and Xenophobia is indeed being celebrated.
You ipob people don't respect your host and abide with their rules.
It's the same mentality you carried to South Africa and Ghana that made the Host to be attacking you .
Bcoz Yorubas make their place conducive for you, you are now saying their land is no man's land .
Can you try such in Kano state and the hausa and Fulani will not kill you all .
Yorubas have never come to your land and be dictating how you should lead your people .
If you come to Lagos for business, if you want to do politics go back to your origin, otherwise Lagos will be hostile all of you .

We allowed all tribes to stay with us peacefully. Even gave portion of Land to Hausa and till tomorrow, everybody know that "Saboo" is Hausa settlement in any western state. We allow igbo to live among us, they became so lousy and having entitlement mentality which they will never allow any foreigner in Anambra or IMO state.
We told them to always follow Night bus to East thesame way Hausa they follow Trailers to North and to go and vote in their state. They carry west for head and be talking Lagos is no mans land.
I know they will push us to the wall on day the same way they push Hausa and they deal with them in North

Congratulations to Governor Sanwo Olu on been Reelected Governor of Lagos State and his twin brother Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, even though technically there shouldn't be any cause for alarm as people should be rewarded for their performance but the Propaganda machinery of the LP aka LAI's PARTY is unprecedented, and Congratulations to all the Participants you all fought a good fight , politics is over now, it is time to be aburos and egbons once again.

philip all my yoruba youth friend that voted for obi from lagos in the presidential election , i quested all of them one by one before the governorship election to ask them who they will vote for , they all chose sawon olu . Nigeria is what unites all of us and anyone can become nigerian president but to think we are ripe to a state where some one with a mixed parent will become lagos governor is a joke of the century... we are note ripe for that yet . kola amada will not contest for anambra state governor without being criticized.

iamphilips:
We all know if the election was actually free and fair, he’ll loose that sit... They literally used thugs, Tribalism and violence to win this time around.

Hope they won’t cry foul when same Violence is brought upon them and their family members...
