|Abia Versus Lagos State by Wiseandtrue(f): 8:02am On Mar 23, 2023
The jubilation following Alex Otti's declaration as the winner of Abia state gubernatorial election is a clear indication that the Igbos don't celebrate mediocrity
I put it to you that if any other party had won, the celebration might not be
This is a strong indication that the South East are always in support of good leadership irrespective of who or where the person is from
Those that are celebrating Alex Otti will still castigate him if he didn't live up to expectations
Like them or hate them, the Igbos don't celebrate wrong leadership styles, they don't celebrate mediocres!!!
The highest critiques of Okezie Ikpeazu were the Igbos, this we clearly saw yesterday, forget all the propagandas making rounds in the social media!
So before you will open your mouth to say that they criticize other governor or government remember that they did not spare their own!!!
This is what we need as Nigerians to build a stronger nation!!!
I come in peace

Previous governors of Abia State were worse than mediocres. They all came from PDP and the LP candidate was the best of the evils.
Lagosians can't replace a functional governor with an inexperienced toddler just because Igbo people hate Tinubu and think that Sanwo-olu is his slave.
Tell me a Southern Governor that delivered physical infrastructures than Sanwo-olu, Wike or Dave Umahi.

N3TRAL:Stop celebrating mediocrity.
Lagos state will be competing with Johannesburg if all the funds allocated to Tinubu and Alpha beta are channelled to develop Lagos state.
|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by Wiseandtrue(f): 8:10am On Mar 23, 2023
N3TRAL:Sanwo Olu was also in that "toddler" stage before he became a governor
Experience started from a place!!!
Besides, these your "experienced" politicians have been there over the years yet Nigeria was the headquarters of poverty, shouldn't we try fresh hands
seunmsg:A clear case study that as Nigerians criticism is not limited to ones state of origin!!!
|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by Nobody: 8:19am On Mar 23, 2023
Zonefree:So, why's Anambra not like Dubai despite all the funds allocated are used to develop it? 🤣
Or na Obi dey chop the funds too?
Your eye dey Lagos, but your own state is nothing to write about. No be "zworism syndrome" be that? 🤣

Sanwo olu was not in the toddler stage.
Do you think Lebanese millionaires and people with billion dollars investment in Lagos want to gamble with an inexperienced mummy's boy? For the first time foreigners were campaigning for a governor.
Let's get started.
Sanwo Olu reached the pinnacle of his private career in Nigeria at Lead Merchants Bank in Nigeria . He was responsible for and in-charge of the foreign money market of the UBA. A mentee of Tony Elumelu who trusted him with that position- facts. He then proceeded to FCMB as an executive of the bank.
In public service, Sanwo-olu was the commissioner for budget and economic planning ( prepared the budget of a big state like Lagos- mediocres cannot handle that). He was the brain behind economic policies in Lagos before 2007.
He thereafter became the commissioner responsible for training, establishment and pensions. His job description here was to oversee the training of Lagos civil servants under specialized portfolios and also regulate payment of pensions to retired Lagos State workers. Ask me about a State in Nigeria that retired workers are not suffering and I'll show you Lagos.
Under Ambode, Sanwo-olu headed the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC). Put differently, the existence of well planned estates in Lagos State since 2015-2019 passed through his office. While he was handling that office, he also became the
Pioneer Board Chairman of Lagos Security Trust Fund. Sanwo-olu gave direct security report to the governor about security infrastructure and financing- that's his experience in security.
I wrap with saying that Sanwo-olu is also a graduate of the London Business school. This is not even detailed.
Now, list GRV's experience .

They just won't stop at their dïck measuring contest.
If you're unhappy with Sanwo-Olu getting re-elected, don't project your unhappiness on others thinking that everyone is like you.
|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by N3TRAL: 8:41am On Mar 23, 2023
The only reason they want Sanwo-olu out is because he's perceived as someone who is loyal to Tinubu - finished. Nothing else. How will people who want development handover the New York/ California of Nigeria to someone who hasn't been tested before? How? Tell me How?
GRV has achieved nothing spectacular in his life. He's a career politician who's been vying for positions under the PDP. When he lost to Jandor during the Primaries, he switched to Labour party and dislodged the legitimate winner of the legitimate primaries which was already concluded.
GRV isn't even fluent in English Language. He's straight-out mediocre.

Wetin come consign Lagos in your writeup now?
Is it that you guys' brains have been damaged and you cant reason without comparison, beating chest and always feeling superior is a chronic signs of an inferiority complex.
|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by NOC1(m): 8:43am On Mar 23, 2023
I might not like Tinubu, but saying that lagos need GRV is an insult to governance, GRV is not qualified to govern any state if you want to measure qualification with experience and exposure in public service.
Be truthful to yourself and give reasons why GRV should be replacement for Sanwolu. GRV was not even prepared for the wave he had 3 weeks ago, he was just a victim circumstance.
No rational and sincere thinker will vote for GRV as a governor.
You will ask yourself this questions
where has he worked?
What does his public life look like?
How popular and acceptable is he in his community?
How prepared was he for the election?
Who are his sponsors?
How did he emerge?
Their are so many critical questions, when you analyze you will see he fell short of standard.

|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by omonnakoda: 9:19am On Mar 23, 2023
They are not foreigners
They are of the same status as VivourRhodes
They have been in Lagos for generations
|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by limeta(f): 9:31am On Mar 23, 2023
I dont know what you mean generations
Most came into Nigeria 1983 due to the war in Lebanon they came in with nothing they were refugees
So is not the same as V Rhodes your hate was his mother is igbo
|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by N3TRAL: 9:45am On Mar 23, 2023
They are Lebanese-Nigerians who want the continuity of the government that gave them hope.
|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by omonnakoda: 9:45am On Mar 23, 2023
limeta:You don't know
You are obviously a young ignorant person
The solution to ignorance is not fiction
Those referred to as Lebanese come from 3 places
Syria,Lebanon and Palestine
They have been in Kano,Port Harcourt,Warri,Lagos for nearly 100 years
In the Niger Delta they used to be known as Kora
That they came mostly due to war in Lebanon is Ignorant nonsense
They were targeted with Indigenization decree in 1972 and it turned out many were citizens
Ask any person from Kano they will enlighten you
Stop saying what you don't know
They were operating one of the biggest pig farms in Kano long before Independence. Obviously those were not Muslims
Do you know who built TInubu square?

|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by limeta(f): 10:04am On Mar 23, 2023
Is this the new narrative
Yes they were Muslim favoured by the sokoto caliphate and the then Muslim military head of state .
Is not my fault you old and brain dead .
|Re: Abia Versus Lagos State by raskymonojendor: 10:09am On Mar 23, 2023
N3TRAL:When you ask them why they want Sanwo Olu to go. This is their usual response. If it's about Godfather replacement, then Doherty should be the ideal replacement and not that GRV.
