A lady had made a video of alleged assault in Ladipo market by popular trader Bebex. After the video went viral on twitter, with involvement by Lagos State DVSA and police DPO Ben Hundeyin, the lady made another video recanting her earlier statement.
It was however alleged the latter video was made under duress by the police bullying the victim in question. See earlier story in the link below:

An update has been made on the case as Bebex has now been detained and investigation opened into all the officers involved in bullying the victim in recanting her statement.

As shared on twitter by an activist on the case:

'Update From The Police Command On The Sexual Assault of The Papa Ajao, Mushin Lady:

1. Bebex detained and to be arraigned in court tomorrow
2. CP directs Gender Department to take over the case
3. CP directs Provost to investigate all Police Officers involved in the collection of money from the lady before following her to effect the arrest of the culprits and those responsible for forcing her to make the second video
4. CP removes DPO Olosan with immediate effect
Thank you
@BenHundeyin @PoliceNG @LagosPoliceNG @Princemoye1 we really appreciate your efforts'

This is a wonderful development. I pray the Lady gets justice. She should also press civil suit against Bebex

Just one foolish act can breed unexpected consequences. Ordering a woman to be slapped for refusing your advances is wrong. The police corrupt tendencies of supporting the connected or highest bidder is a big menace to the society.

The case has gone beyond manipulation going by public interests, hence the face saving measures we are seeing. All the same, kudos for ensuring justice and no harm should come near the woman.

Perfect!!!
That he-goat deserves a long rest in Prison. For someone to have carried out such nonsense in broad daylight and public,I wonder what he has been doing to other women ,girls and even his wife.

Justice will definitely be served,to teach him and his kind a lesson.

Not all women are enticed by money.
When a woman says No , leave her alone.
carry your money and look for the "gold_digging Nigerian women" you say we are , you'll see them plenty abi why rejection dey pain this gender like this?

One of the merits of social media 👏👏👏👏👏.

Animalistic tendencies everywhere. I am too sure this eye service to the Intl community is to change the perception of the useless NPF after they rigged elections in collaboration with corrupt politicians.

The idiot must have his shops shut down and prosecuted to the full extent of the law, people with animalistic behavior should not live among humans.
