With your low level of reasoning filled with chronic ignorance, I am not surprised Nigeria is a failed country. If you should travel to a country like Norway, if the whites listen to you for 2 minutes, they will request that you enroll in a kindergarten because that is where your mates are

Which of the facts he listed is a lie?

omohayek:

This is what so many Nigerians fail to understand about why they get the quality of leadership they do. Nigerian politics has a systemic problem with how it is funded, a problem which has made corruption an unavoidable part of the formula for succeeding in the system right since the 1940s. This is why anyone hoping for a supposedly clean "messiah" to appear and save Nigerians from themselves is living in a pipe dream. It is simply impossible to get anywhere in Nigerian politics without engaging in substantial corruption.

The root of the problem is that Nigerian political parties aren't really funded by their memberships. In most other parts of the world, parties are funded primarily through the donations of individual party members, usually with strict limits on how much each member can contribute to any given contest. In Nigeria most party "members" are essentially alms seekers, hoping to land either a public sector "job", a padded contract or some other such benefit by helping some bigger fish to land a "juicy" post where he/she can then dole out favors to reward supporters - the idea of impoverished party members using their limited private funds to pay for campaigns is simply a non-starter. As such, political campaigns have to be funded in a different way, namely by either making promises to wealthy donors, or outright stealing the necessary funds directly from the public purse.

It's because of all the above that I laugh at anyone who sees Peter Obi, or anyone else who has been successful in Nigerian politics at the level of a governor or senator, as being a "clean" voice for "change" who will "sweep away" the entrenched corruption that has been part of Nigerian life at every level since the British started allowing "the natives" into the Nigerian civil service. Without strict, well-enforced limits on who can fund a party and with how much, Nigerian politics will never change, but all of Nigeria's political parties would immediately collapse if such limits were ever miraculously imposed.
In summary, politics of greed where big wigs entice poor and desperate foot soldiers bribes and perks. Especially at the presidential level.

If its about intelligence and eloquence, even Osinbajo will have a lot of competition (visit our universities to confirm).
It's politics and the best politician won. No room for mediocrity. Let the best win.

Throwback:
Leadership is not for the weak or for those without a sound political base.

Nigeria has gained by electing a brilliant mind in Tinubu.

A brilliant Finance technocrat.
An effective and innovative administrator and manager.
An astute politician.

A round peg in a round hole.
you guys can't fool anyone with this stupid talk, when osinbanjo ran for apc primary the only people who objected and insulted the gentleman were tinubu's supporters, we remember how you guys cursed him, only children of darkness and hate would do such a thing, I supported obi but I was happy osinbanjo was also in the race, knowing well that either of the two would be good for Nigeria, but enemies of the land don't believe in Nigeria, they only believe in their greed and the only way that greed can be achieved is through a demented, drug dealing/taking old kleptomaniac. Shame on all tinubu supporters.

They said that Osinbanjo is weak
What made Tinubu strong?
Ability to recruit Agberos
Ability to successfully bribe INEC
If strength is a character like Tinubu with many gabbages and controversies
Name unknown
State unknown
Business cocaine
School unknown
We are in trouble as a nation
For a nation to move forward
People with conscience like Osinbanjo and Obi is needed.

and he was the one who allowed power to go to the North for his selfish reasons, foisted buhari on us for a second term in 2019 through direct primaries by the party ensuring no one else would defeat him using the method he adopted in 2022 APC primaries. We are not blind and we can deduce the game plan. I will be shocked if his tenure would be better than buharis own. Right now this is the trend obj>musa>jona>buhari>tinibu

We all never know why exactly he's been gentle and quiet.

Don't underestimate a quiet man. They're often the strongest, toughest and most thorough.
