When you cut supply, demand actually goes through the roof.

The solution to proffer depends on what you really want. I noticed that males are too ashamed to spell out what they really want from the female gender.

For example, a lot of the voices calling for an end to the 'hook-up culture' are actually complaining about the prices, they want free s$x!

Look at one example given up there, the diasporan guy didn't want to pay 100k for 'yansh'

If you males really want the trend to end, let every man have his (one) wife, and let every woman have her (one) husband.

But you people are 'polygamous in nature'

Una never ready.

You are not just a saint, you are holy and Mary together ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

See as you just expose guys anyhow above.

Lol. Of course, it is obvious there'd be blame game especially those Baby, let me put just the tip indisciplined men grin grin

About this hookup thing ehn, I believe when there's no demand, there won't be supply also. Ceteris paribus.

Then stop advertising yourself for sex and displaying your wares to be bought no one would bid for you....Your mind manipulation of blaming men for offering yourself for transactional sex is plain stupid ...... Present yourself as a woman of dignity and honor see if any man would come and demand sex from you for money.....
Go and find how your gender also use the same mode to get jobs, favors, promotion and even contract to outbid men in the same competition for the same jobs, promotion in cooperate bodies ....Please don't start the men this that you know it's your fault ....Your gender don't want to be accountable but want to gain gain gain

how can you reduce human Urge for sex if you can tell me the solution then you will answer the question on the thread be like you never understand say sexual urges Dey occur for people body every day some have money and time and reason for hookups some have the body for it , when sexual urges arise they will be satisfied you cannot fight nature now does my earlier post make sense to you ? Or you need me to tell you more ? Most of you people either live in a bubble or get all your information from social media, you forget the real world is different from social media. I dare you go outside tomorrow morning go to the market and the university nearest to you count the number of people on the road. Tell me how you will stop or reduce their urge to have sex

Male and female are already reducing the urge for sex, since we donโ€™t fcvk each time we have the urge. Or do we?

Reducing it FURTHER, requires for us men to build a better society for more employment for busy men & women and greater equality of opportunity, income and wealth.

In a bid to simplify this, I will ask you a few questions.

1. Can you name anything you know of, either a trade, substances (eg drugs), events (e.g. abortion performance), etc, that the government trying to ban it allows the dealers to go free, but arrest/punish only the buyers?

So for example, if I sell harmful drugs, I am free to distribute, manufacture, and advertise, but the government only punishes my customers, not me?

2. If I want to stop alomo bitters in the Nigerian market, Which method is more effective between these two scenarios? Scenario A. Ban importation and make it punishable for dealers to sell such services, AS well as make it punishable for customers to use such products.

Or scenario B, Punish only customers and let the dealers of alomo trade and conduct their business freely?

If you can answer both questions above correctly, then my point will be very clear.

Back to the issue, sellers/service providers always have more power to stop the circulation of a business. There are so many examples I can mention but is it necessary?

When Buhari doesn't want Twitter, he banned it, AND punish those using VPN to access it. That is more effective than just punishing Twitter users. In most countries, prostitution is illegal. If your method is correct, then it should be the other way around, right?

How can you ignore all the societal structures that encourage prostitution and punish only men? it makes no sense frankly. There are hotels specifically to house harlot, then nightclubs, then roadsides where the harlot stands, then hookup sites such as coded runs, and so much more.

You will ignore all these things and just go arrest men? Really? like REALLY? if you want to cut a tree, you do it from the root. You don't cut the fruits and declare success.

My point still stands. If prostitution has to stop, then women have to stop it, not men. Men could be punished for engaging in such services as trafficking girls, building hotels, and so much more.

But it is women, not men, that control sexual access. Not putting the blame on hungry girls that uses prostitution instead of hard work is infantilizing girls.

If the government bans prostitution, which means closing a lot of hotels, banning the site-coded runs, arresting any prostitutes found on junctions, and fining nightclubs heavily, prostitution will reduce overnight.

But to ignore all these and just go for men only? It won't end. A quick example. If I am the only one selling Amala in a city, I have the power to prevent everyone in that city not to eat amala if I refuse to sell. By the same analogy, only women, not men, have the power to stop it.

ANd about my saying that ยดmen create the society and women integrate into itยด, creating a society also means banning prostitution. If men ban prostitution and also punish men luring girls for such services, it will end overnight.

cc. lordAdam16, CaveAdullam

Smart points. Its like Gerrard59 is not aware that based on his line of argument, he is effectively saying women are a commodity since they dont have the obligation or are unable to resist being put on display and sold to the highest/willing bidder.

Common sense dictates that it's the supply point that's most effective to control any vice. Parents that dont want their young kids to watch porn on their devices either seize the device or block the sites. It will be useless to expect the kid to just use their initiative and leave the device with them.

Successful companies install controls that block employees ability to commit fraud. They dont leave it to employees to use their 'church mind'.

Baba Gerrard just dey go off tangent.

Back to the topic, ask women and see how majority of baby daddies try to avoid child support just because the women refuse to have sex with them.

They want unrestricted access to the woman's body without any commitment whatsoever, the only guarantee that the woman will get any support is if she makes her body available.

Same for some husbands, they try to sabotage their wives' earning power so that she will remain financially dependent on them. The real motivation for this is the need to have ever ready sex objects that knows that she will get no money if she doesn't keep the shop open.

Now they have the gall to call women s$x workers.

Who are the real s$x workers?

E be like say this OP want all Nigerian girls to commit suicide. Ban hookup their only means of survival in this hopeless country. The online dating stuff is major reason why hookup has spiked most girls don't want to work. They prefer hookup. Bros hookup get levels there is escort too. Olosho on high class. The world needs a reset then we can now talk of morality and how to recondition people' u see eleven year old girl carrying phone upandan they have boyfriend of 20 years and above. Dey dere dey deceive ya self. Hookup has come to stay. Infact in their projected conference hookup will likely be the highest paying job before 2035.

stay with one woman for what why am I living in bondage. How will the government provide job opportunities in an unrewarding society. Wake up and realize school is metaphysical scam. Imagine spending most of your career in an isolated compartment for years responding to queries that adds no value in future. If I am to be president I go first cancel all schools. Create a new world order of education. No more stupid blackboard schooling. My mission will be to be able to build a strong nation by making children independent right from young age. If fact they will be jack of all trades. Make them mentally strong eqqiped intellectually instill massive discipline. Create problem solvers watch how all the dead sectors in Nigeria will improve from agriculture to electricity to business/ trade tech and so on. Not just teaching them who discovered river Naija or Pythagoras theorem they can learn that on their own internet or library is there

A guy with high libido meets a lady with low or vice versa, then for some it's just pure mischievousness; more like greed but this time around with women or men as the case may be, when it's uncontrollable a seductive spirit is behind the scene.

Then the lady who offered sex, or accepted money for sex should not be punished?

While this may earn you cheap popularity with women, it's actually not in their favour long term.

It implies that, in your estimation, they are somehow deficient and cannot be treated equally as men or can't take responsibility for their actions as can be expected of men.

So much about gender equality.
I just believe when there's no demand, there's won't be supply.
