The 2023 edition of the Uyo Fashion Week will assemble the core elements of education and capacity building, leveraging Fashion, Beauty and Entertainment.


A key focus of the event is entrepreneurship development which will be anchored on sessions aimed at benefiting the business community as a whole, and in particular, geared to assist start-ups and existing entrepreneurs in Akwa Ibom define clear goals for their businesses, provide the right network for partnerships/collaborations, and educate them on the need to apply optimal decisions to their enterprises.

This event is organized by enterepreneurs ad supported by the Akwa State Government for Culture and Tourism.
The event started on 8th of May 2023 and will end on the 14th of May 2023 and this event will take place at the Ibom Tropicana Mall in Uyo city of Akwa Ibom State.

Day 1 saw the appearance of Nollywood stars Ini Edo, IK ogbonna, Nancy Isime, Chidi Mokeme, who will walk runaway, Top models such as Emmanuel Umoh, creative designer Mai Atafo, Lady Mae Edwards, designers Austin Udoh, Kufre Nnah showcasing their design fabrics rooted from the streets of Uyo.
Also present was Ebuka of Big brother Africa, Boyedoe, Aniekpeno Mkpanang ( Chief Convener) and host other International designers and Agencies.

The event is still ongoing and it has so far live up to the expectations and making emerging city Like Uyo stand stall with the Giants.
