May God never allow us to run a dysfunctional home like the house of Isaac. Where the wife plots against the husband while the husband plot against the wife and the kids plots against one another. God had cursed Jacob from the womb to be a deceiver though to be greater than his brother

2. Sarah had Isaac. Genesis 21:1-3, Genesis 15:4-5 the child of promise and covenants. Genesis 22:2, Hebrew 11:7
3. Keturah as another Concubine but same claims has it that shes still the same Hagar the mother of Isamael later Consumated as real wife with a contracted marriage since Serah was already late. had 6 Sons: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, Shuah, Genesis 25:1-6 fathers of the 6 Arabian tribes to the East. Genesis 15:1-5, Genesis 25:5..

What brought about confusion amongst the house of Abraham was favouritism. It also affected Isaac and his 2 Children and Twins, Esau (The Edomite because of his Red complexion) and Jacob (Jeshurun as addressed by the Jews). Genesis 15:6, Galatians 3:7, Luke 19:9., Romans 4:16.

Hence Rebbeca was gotten to marry Isaac from Abraham's fathers land. That is also the land of idolatories or idol worshippers, The daughter of Idol worshipper Bethuel the Aramean and Rebecca the sister to Laban.

Isaac learnt to avoid polygamy from the experience he had from his father's suffering amongst his brothers Abraham and also from the suffering he had from his brother Ishmael, but Isaac never new his problem was about to begin with his only wife Rebecca (Rebekah) Genesis 25:21-26.
