the news of his Nigerian ancestry came as a pleasant surprise to the artist. Drake expressed his excitement at the discovery in his Instagram post, stating, “My dad is a proud Black man, full stop. He has been my biggest inspiration in life, and seeing this result makes me even more proud to be black.”

While sharing the post, the excited rapper also wrote" This is my Dad's result, does this means I'm a Naija man finally?" this caption implies that Drake has always wanted to be a Naija man.

Late last year, the duchess of Sussex and former actress also opened up in her podcast about her genetic heritage revealing that she is 43% Nigerian, and would love to learn more about her Nigerian roots.
