It is so obvious nw that BB is the trend in town especially Nigeria; but i still belive that BB can't out sale Nokia phones in volues & turn over per day not withstanding the BB syndrome. well, i need facts to get the anwsers to this question,

well that's because blackberry only make smartphones , while Nokia make both normal feature fones and smartphone, in the smartphone market, blackberry is doing better, but overall its Nokia,

In terms of volume, Nokia no doubt sells more. Nokia has phones for all classes and have very good second hand value. Blackberry phones are still considered expensive. U see more second hand blackberries than new ones, they may sell a million units in UK and USA only to find half of them shipped to Nigeria as second hand phones. Nokia can comfortably sell a million phones here.

I think Nokia still got the call!, Nokia still has the highest sales in Nigeria and I even doubt if BB takes a second position, Freeman

As at 4 days ago, CNN gave an analysis that Nokia sells more than blackberry in terms of volume. However, in terms of turnover, blackberry sells more.

Nokia is going through tough times.

They laid off 4,000 workers or so.

They ditched their traditional Symbian software and replaced with the Windows operating system.

They are no longer the world's largest cell phone maker, losing that position to Samsung and the Apple.

Based on anecdotal evidence, I would say that BB sells more than Nokia, for I have not seen anyone in Yankee or Naija with a Nokia phone in a while. Again, I could be wrong. The world is now moving to the either the Android system, Apple operating system, windows system, or the Blackberry. Nokia is just old news, and may never recover.

Taken over what? How many people use blackberry in Nigeria. BB can flex muscle but Nokia will remain the number one choice for mobile users.

In Nigeria, it would probably be Nokia. Elsewhere i.e. Europe and North America, it's probably Blackberry.

Nokia allows you to do so many things while Blackberry limits its access allowed, although blackberry is triving amongst the rich in Naija but i realised that even all those with BB phones still have need for NOKIA one way or the other>>>>so I think NOKIA still in charge in NIGERIA

Not true. In Europe and America, many customers have ditched the Blackberry for Droid-based phones and Iphones.

oh no! My friend is using bb therefor i must buy it. All they knw is pinging and nothing else. Most naija and their ways of thinking is another story.

Even in Europe and yankee, ppl r doing away with their bb 4 d love of android!

BB's are linked to status and quite popular amongst our youths while Nokia's are rugged and quite popular especially with the older generation I think.
