Minimum wage increase is the major problems in higher prices of food, transport and commodity. Everyone can not be civil servant or how did u want a transporter of pepper seller etc to get their own share of minimum wage increament.?? It's by increasing the price of commodities they sell

Check from when minimum wage was introduced, price of bag of rice is always closer to minimum wage. B4 its at 17,500 how much was a bag of rice? When it was 30,000 then a bag of rice gradually goes to 35k, when u are saying it shld be 50k then a bag must go to 55 or 60k because market must increase to collect thiers. Best is for d money to have value not minimum wage increase for only workers. After all how many are they in d entire population.

My wife runs a school with a staff strength of about 50. We've increased wages immediately subsidy was lifted and we are leasing space near school for pre school staff. Look, the point is that private sector must lower margins to accommodate higher costs. If you've been well run you will cherry pick the staff others lay off and build a competitive advantage. Even if you take a beating in the short term, if you outlast or better your competition you improve market share. When conditions stabilise which i expect by first quarter or second quarter 2024 you can monetize that market share.

The point of all this grammar is that adjusting to new realities is not only the work of government. It is part of what the private sector should do.

We've all made money in past years now it's time to give a little in order to stay in the game.
