This afternoon, Kenneth Okonkwo tweeted an update on the election tribunal hearing that involved a complaint against the Independent National Electoral Commission, or INEC, and its pronouncement of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the election’s victor.

Kenneth Okonkwo wrote, “6TH JUNE, 2023,” in a tweet. We are back in court today to continue our petition at the Presidential Election Petition Court (COA).

He asserted with certainty that Professor Yakubu Mahmood’s Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had shattered the record for the worst electoral commission on Earth.

He wrote on Twitter: “How can INEC stand up in court and say, ‘My Lord, I object to the tendering of INEC’S certified true copies of the election results.'”

Kenneth Okonkwo continued by saying that the institution is becoming an international embarrassment for the nation and that he had never seen an organization that, by law, should be neutral on all grounds, blatantly object to its documents to appease certain political constituencies.

The lead counsel to INEC already explained what is going on last week.Peter Obi and labour party are tendering results of states they didn't contest results in their original petition.LP and Peter Obi are simply playing to the gallery.President tinubu won't be unseated by the court. The results announced by INEC,
is at least 90% of what happened on ground.

This INEC will be the catalyst that finally triggers radical overhaul of Nigeria.
They not only dashed Nigeria's democratic hopes, they also dashed Africa's hopes.
Now Africa's sit-tight leaders and dictators will simply copy and paste INEC's roguish formula to rig and stay in power in perpetuity.

How can any party to a law suit be expected to be neutral as a defendant? INEC is on trial here and they have to defend their actions to the tribunal. Nothing like neutrality here

Okonkwo should have waited for what INEC wants to say for her objection before seeking emotional support on social media. For INEC to give you all those records you requested after payment and still come back to object them means there are reasons you don't know that INEC may clearify later when court permits INEC. Don't be too overzealous on futility, INEC may have court admissable reasons why those documents were opposed. Just wait and let INEC reacts first, INEC may have genieue reason that will convince the court. Okonkwo should try being childish
