It is not about power it's about law. If the if you destroy someone's property or business, you will pay five times the amount in damages.

I just heard some politicians in the Lagos house of assembly plan to enact laws to "protect the indigenes"
We all know the true reason behind this and this reason makes such law impossible the more.

For instance, no law can treat a southwesterner resident in Lagos differently from someone from the SE/SS or Northerner.

Any law protecting Lagos indigenes, protects them also from non indegenes of southwest origin.

No law can stop people from coming to Lagos, living and doing business there, no matter how emotional, tribalistic and insecure the law makers are. Provided Nigeria is still one country, freedom of movement and of ownership of properties apply everywhere.

No law can force people in Lagos to speak a particular language.

No law can stop land transactions among individuals.

No law can take away people's properties.

No law in the state assembly can restrict contest of positions in Lagos state to indigenes. If it ever happens the law makers and the governor themselves will lose their positions.

The best the can end up doing is to speak Yoruba language in the LSHA.

There is no substitute for hardwork.

This is just an attempt to keep their frustrated, angry and poor mobs loyal by firing 🔥 them up their with anti Igbo sentiment which is not workable in reality.

I will gladly donate a drum for your tears because a lot of sobbing and weeping await you.
When you go to court, your case file will be allowed a place in the archives to elongate the hearing. I predict a minimum of 15 years for such errant cases.
EVERYTHING will be deployed against you ingrates such that many of you will willingly desert Lagos.

Akure, dead city?

This was the same oxymoronic assertion I heard from one of brothers by the handlename: penguin where he stated that ibos are only in lagos as a consequence of its having been a capital city but none in other yoruba states.

Lo and behold, a few days later, one of their eze was flogged black and blue by Akure youths for disrespecting their Oba and then banished from the town.

Such a stupid set of follow follow ohh yes law makers..... Any law that looks like, sounds like, acts like discriminatory to any person who still look like a Nigerian citizen, in any particular area in the territory that make up Nigeria will be tossed out by the supreme court, Nigeria never cast like that......Any if they can prove any damage, expect a consequential judgement from more sane Judges. Even the north with their sharia madness no fit try a non muslim in sharia court even though there's "Sharia" captured in the 1999 constitution.

The drug mule & his gang of agbero never capture supreme court yet!

Who told you Sanwo isn't an indegene

Well it's left for chief and bale to determine that because you need a letter from them to take to LGA

Well other states will pass same ethnic laws too. Nigeria doesn't start and end in Lagos.

Ignorance

Ordinary LASU you pay lower if you have Lagos Indegenship form from you LGA

Same thing in all Oyo State schools from Lautech to Poly

Now imagine if such were replecated in allocating Computer Village shops, Ladipo Market and Other Market

Imagine if Promotion and recruitment in Public service is strictly due to Indegenship

Imagine if Cof O of lands are not issued to ibos and indegeneous people reclaim their land like dolphin estate

.
No be to allocate shop be the problem, will the new allotees keep up? Moreover if they stop giving c of o to non indigenes, it will stall development.

Oga, ondo is a death city. I’m not sure there’s Igbos staying there

Apart from Lagos, there’s nowhere in the southwest region you will see igbos except very few that’s doing business, that’s all

Stop confusing yourself that igbos are in other southwest states

When you people were shouting Lagos na no man land up and down, you didn't think there was going to be consequences?

If i was the governor of Lagos state i’d have done worst.

The only tin lagos got going for it is mixed diversity of population. Population is why it has the largest number of bank branch, fuel stations, private schools, private hospital, hotels, business centre, church, market. Population is why land is expensive. If all lgbos leave lagos, all these talk of 5th largest economy will end.
