Fellow citizens! It’s been an eventful week since President Tinubu took the oath of office.

The anticipation and excitement leading up to this moment have been palpable, and now we finally have the chance to assess his performance in his first week as the President of our beloved nation.

So, what’s the verdict? What will you rate President Tinubu’s first week in office? Let’s dive in and explore the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

First off, let’s talk about the positives. President Tinubu hit the ground running, wasting no time in assembling his team and outlining his vision for the nation. His swift action in addressing key issues such as security, and subsidy remover has been commendable.

It’s refreshing to see a leader who understands the urgency of these matters and is taking decisive steps to tackle them head-on.

One aspect that stands out is President Tinubu’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity. His cabinet appointments reflect a broad spectrum of talents and backgrounds, showcasing a willingness to unite the nation and foster collaboration. This approach fosters hope and shows promise for a government that values representation and aims to bridge societal divides.

Another notable highlight is President Tinubu’s emphasis on transparency and accountability. From his inaugural address to his interactions with the media, he has stressed the importance of open communication and holding officials accountable for their actions.

However, no leader is without their challenges and areas of improvement. President Tinubu’s first week has also faced its fair share of criticisms and concerns.

Some critics argue that the first week has been too harsh on Nigerians, especially after removing fuel subsidy. Many Nigerians are still expecting more immediate and tangible results. Others express concerns over certain policy decisions, calling for clearer direction and more comprehensive plans.

So, dear fellow citizens, what will you rate President Tinubu’s first week in office? Share your thoughts, engage in meaningful conversations, and let’s collectively strive for progress and prosperity of this country.

Let’s hear from y’ll

I give him an 8. Only because he lost some points letting Nigerians know that his predecessor didn’t provide funding for the continuation of subsidy in his inauguration speech.

He should’ve known that Nigerians are too dumb to remember that the removal of subsidy was announced in Jan of THIS YEAR

He actually lost 3 points, but gained a point back by showing leadership, standing his ground and negotiating with the powers that be not to go on strike.

1/10.

Raising fuel price to 500 without providing palliatives and working refineries has countered every good thing he might have done.

Besides many people have been killed already.

I will score Tinibu 7/10. His actions so far has been top-notch. Let him pay university staff and increase minimum wage to a living wage then he has no opposition in 2027 even if he is bedridden.

He convinced Labour, ordinary citizens, Governors, Fuel Marketers on the the importance of Subsidy Removal. And most importantly he leads.

We have a President who understand what it means to Lead. Leadership is only about service and he understands it.

The execution was pretty strategic! If he had allowed palliative to go ahead before initiating, the 'cabals' would have had enough time to frustrate the move. Baba head get too much oil...

But his ratings shouldn't bother you in anyway. Someone gave him a minus 10 which doesn't exist on the scale, and you saw nothing wrong with that.

Give your rating and allow people their freedom to give theirs. They mustn't say the things you like to read.
