I dont kno cost of ivf in these places but ivf at 32 is a very good age cos ur amh at this age shd be very ok except there are other issues. To achieve a successful ivf is not by age alone, u need to ensure ur uterus is free from obstacles like fibroids, polyp, adenomyosis, bulky and too tinny lining. Ensure ur tubes are either open or completely blocked from the proximal or uterus side cos if its open n blocked at the fimbrai or ovary end, fluid from the tubes can affect implantation so Drs now do a procedure called
salpingectomy to block d tubes completely to increase ur chances. Ensure ur hormones are balance espcially prolactin, as this can affect d quality of eggs if very high. Finally ensure ur husband's sp.erm is ok, this includes count and motility. These and many more are the reasons Drs conduct comprehensive tests before embarking on most IVF procedure except u are a returning patient. All the best

Hi Blendy77, please sis how do I contact you. Please I need your help. Can you send me your email please sis

I am really worried. Had 2 ivf this year with ICSI and non made it to embryo transfer. My prolactin level has been unstable. Wen I stop taking cabagolene, it rises again.
The 2 processes, the eggs were fertilised, and they just stopped growing/ dividing. The first one 4 eggs fertilised, second one 7 eggs fertilised.
Everything seems well with my wife. I have low sperms count though, which have been taking medications for. It was urologist that okayed the first ivf. Cs it was zero as at October and January wen I tested, it became 4m.
Don't know what could be arresting the growth of the embryo. I Don tire. Much has been borrowe6and spent. Wife is becoming tense towards me at home now self. I don't know. Pls help.

Good Evening all, I have been married for 5 years now and I have never been pregnant, my husband suggested ivf. After seeing a doctor in a general hospital, he advise we do hormonal profile, scan, SFA, vaginal swab. The result are all out . please kindly interpret them for me.

Do we have any chance on the SFA. Is there any drugs that can boost the count. He has used addyzoa and proviron in the past but still same. Kindly help a sister in need. May grant our heart desires.

@Moradeyo I think he should also do a Scrotal Doppler scan to rule out Varicocele cus that also something that could cause low sperm count as well as he should see an Urologist.
Best of luck

Hi mamasโ€ฆ
I have a question for the IVF babies mums, pls when did yโ€™all stop taking your medications? And what gradual process did you take?
I have been on mine for 11 weeks now. Progynova, estrogen and duphaston.
Re: Anyone Trying IVF/IUI/ICSI (Fertility Treatments)? by Thehomemaker(f): 6:29am On Jun 07, 2023
Hi Mama, your Dr will gradually begin to wean you off them at 12 or 13 weeks once you enter 2nd trimester but that may also depend on the clinic and their protocol.

Good Morning Everyone.
so we ve been trying to concieve since 2020 but it never happened, we started with Pregnacare conception but yet nothing happened and we were advised to try tracking at a hospital so as we can get the accurate ovulation and try. During the tracking process we found out that my wife's eggs usually form cysts and do not shed when they are supposed to, so the doctor advised to give her an injection which will trigger the ovulation but still nothing worked and we made up our mind to try the IVF. We read a lot of reviews online and we used Nordica Fertility Treatment. i remember explaining to them our history and they did their own tests and everything, The sperm counts and mortility are good but we usually see cysts on my wifes eggs and they said she would be placed on treatment to help the eggs so we can get better quality eggs and proceed with the ivf ( my wife is under 30 and slim). so she was stimulated and given the meds to take at a specific time everday and we made sure we did everything well. during the egg retrieval we had good eggs according to them and 6 was the best and they went ahead to fertilize the 6 and 4 was doing okay at day 3 but they only transferred back 3 (1 grad 1 and two grade 2 all 8 cells). after the 14 day wait with prayers, it came out negative but the period didn't come till later, we were calling to figure out what we didn't do well but their counternance was just poor, all they said is sometimes things like this happen and that the doctor will call us after two weeks and they didn't call till like the 3rd week, as the doctor was explaining, he said that they eggs they got out was Extremely granulated and we were not lucky. I asked why didn't you say anything when you found out that the eggs were not of good quality and still proceeded with the fertilization and transfer? and how come no one from your clinic has called or reached out since.

so please my questions are How can we improve the Egg quality?

Good evening everyone, I have been a silent reader on this plaform. Congratulations to all who have succeeded in this journey. I share in your joy.
I'm encouraged reading how issues and questions are responded to here, indeed I have learnt a lot.
In the same spirit of sisterhood/brotherhood I really need help on what to do concerning my case. I have gone through ivf twice and had miscarriage in the two occasions. The miscarriage happened almost at the same stage between 6 to 7 weeks. Please are there things I need to do to differently or drugs to use to help me carry to term. I'm scared of trying again. Any useful info will be greatly appreciated.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™
