With Hollywood running out of original ideas, they have moved to the comic, novels & games route. With Hitman (film) coming out in November, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time slated 4 a 2009 release, a God of War film in the works, d Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run film pushed back (again) to 2009, and d Halo film that has been delayed till God knows when. What game would u like to 2b made into a movie? Bearing in mind d successes (Resident Evil series) and d failures (anything that Uwe Boll touches).

P.S:for those wondering wats currently in d works (minus those i mentioned above)

Metal Gear Solid, hands down.

I always admired the games even though I haven't played them in great detail. The series is pretty much one big interactive movie and the cut-scenes are already made to mimic Hollywood cinema. I hear Hideo Kojima; the designer of all the games is slated to direct (or at least produce) the feature film and there's a lot of speculation on which actor will fill the shoes of the main protagonist; Snake (actors like Hugh Jackman, Eric Bana, Viggo Mortensen, and even the original Kurt Russell).

Well, in my opinion, so far Uwe Boll stays as far away as possible and Hideo is at the helm, it could turn out to be something spectacular.

Let's see, bringing back an old thread, funny how most of the films I listed are still in development hell. Still waiting for that God of War film. The Far Cry series would make a good film series. Would also love the Uncharted series brought to life, Nathan Drake needs to be on the big screen. They could make Gears of War the Apocalypse Now of this generation.

I would love to see assassin's creed as a movie or better yet as an anthology series produced by Netflix. Anyone agree?

Honestly all i want to see is a Witcher movie. I think it has great potential to start a huge franchise.
Of the upcoming movies you forgot Warcraft, due June 2016 i think. The trailer is coming out next week at Comic-Con

It's funny seeing my original post, Spy Hunter never went past pre-production, the Halo & GoW films are still non-existent. The Sims, Splinter Cell & Soul Calibur are also AWOL. I'm not exactly sure what happened to the Castlevania film 'cause the internet is confusing me, but I'm assuming the film still doesn't exist.

Apparently, the Metal Gear Solid film was also in development hell, but in 2012 it was put back in production with Avi Arad (ex CCO of Marvel Entertainment & founder of Marvel Studios) as producer. In March 2015, Jay Basu was announced as the writer. Let's see if this actually happens.

strangely enough, there is an old super Mario movie. Dated 1992 or so.
