Carefully read Matthew 7:15-20

When God made a covenant with the nation of Israel He said:

“‘If any prophet presumptuously speaks a word in my name that I did not command him to speak or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. However, you may say in your heart: “How will we know that Jehovah has not spoken the word?” When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word is not fulfilled or does not come true, then Jehovah did not speak that word. The prophet spoke it presumptuously. You should not fear him" Deuteronomy 18:20-22

The above is how Israelites can fish out false prophets among them not outside the nation of Israel!

Jonah was sent to Nineveh to proclaim death on that ancient city in just 40 days but it didn't occur so does that make Jonah a false prophet? NO! Because he wasn't prophesying in Israel that's why Jesus told his listeners that the only sign God will give interested persons in the endtime is like that of Jonah what Jonah prophesied about Nineveh didn't occur the time Jonah thought but after Jonah's death Nineveh actually faced that annihilation!

So how can we know false prophets after Jesus?
Any religion that failed to make disciples who are zealous preachers and industrious teachers of the kingdom of God like Jesus and his disciples did in the first century is false religion headed by false prophets {Matthew 7:16} Jesus is the vine planted by God {John 15:1} his apostles are the branches {John 15:5} the work was commissioned to make more disciples who will also be preaching and teaching from house to house {Matthew 10:11-13 compare to Matthew 28:19-20} everywhere they are that's the FRUIT expected of Christianity {John 15:5} so any religion that's gathering followers but they're not making active preachers within their environs is not Christianity therefore it's a fake religion headed by false prophets! Matthew 7:16-18
