Should prostitution be legalized?Do the benefits of legalization or decriminalization outweigh the possible dangers?

I totally agree that it should be legalized, but it's legalization should come with strict controls as regards the areas where it should be practised. Countries like Germany, and Holland have long since legalized it, and they pay taxes to the government; the government now uses this taxes to deploy welfare and healthcare programmes for p-rostitutes who work/live there. Any elementary sociologist will know that criminalizing something as old as p-rostitution is completely ridiculous and shows that common sense is not so common after all.

The laws are indeed hypocritical. It’s okay for a woman to have sex with a stranger. It’s okay for a woman to have sex with a man she hardly knows after he buys her a drinks, blackberry or jewelry, why is cash currency treated so differently?
