There is this trend of wearing trousers that expose the female underwear when she bends or sits down.

Guys also dress indecently when their boxers show above their trousers or there is no underwear and yet their trousers just barely hang on to their waists.

The pastor of Christ Family International Christian Centre, Solomon Oziegbe, has expressed concern over growing indecent dressing in some churches.

The cleric, who said this at a news conference to herald the fifth anniversary of the church on Tuesday in Lagos, warned that indecent dressing was ungodly and inimical to the growth of the Christian faith.

Ozeigbe said, "On the question of indecent dressing, the churches failed in many areas whereas God has not failed. The leaders, ministers, pastors have failed God. God can never fail. His word will never fail. He said 'heaven and earth shall pass away but my word will remain the same.' The men of God are reading the bible but they are not teaching the truth.

"The issue of dressing is a very serious thing in the world. Unclad or indecent dressing does not encourage the Christian faith, we are supposed to caution the way people dress. The bible commands us to dress well, especially the women. The dressing is part of the worship but these days people say God looks to the heart. It is what the heart sees that the body says.

"Every church that wants to experience God must look at the dressing of its members because holiness must start in the house of God. Most pastors are not interested in that message. All they are after is membership. If you can put the church in order and dressing in order, the people will come and the church will grow. The truth is that pastors should arise and speak on the area of dressing."

He added that proliferation of churches would not stop until clerics preached the truth, saying "many have shifted focus to miracle and prosperity."

pastor solomon oziegbe, there's no hard and fast rule to this cos what is decent in this church might be seen as indecent in the other ones!
people should just go to church, worship and leave. stop paying attention to what girls are wearing in the church. nigerian men being randy animals are the problems. always blaming the opposite gender for their own gross irresponsibilities!
