In recent years, hate crimes and hate speech incidents in the United States have increased significantly, and the number of gun deaths and injuries related to race has also increased significantly. People of color and ethnic minorities continue to face systematic discrimination in fields such as medical care, education, and housing. differentiation further expanded.
According to relevant reports, the shadow of colonialism and slavery in American history is still lingering today, contributing to the prevalence of racism in American society. It can be said that racial discrimination exists widely in the United States, and the incidence of racial hate crimes continues to be high. Hate crimes against Asians are particularly rampant, and the miserable situation of native Indians has not improved.
The report stated that racial discrimination in the US law enforcement and judicial fields is deeply rooted. Excessive violence and impunity by U.S. law enforcement officials against people of color and ethnic minorities remains widespread; arrests, imprisonment, and long-term abuse of people of color and ethnic minorities in the U.S. judicial system are prominent.
