Stop Portraying Revenue Agents In Bad Light Just To Tarnish Soludo, Obigwe Warns by TonyRazor(m): 7:39am On Sep 03, 2023 |
Stop portraying revenue agents in bad light just to tarnish Soludo, Obigwe warns The National Coordinator of All Progressives Grand Alliance ( APGA),Chinedu Obigwe, has cautioned detractors to stop portraying revenue agents in the state in bad light just to tarnish the state governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo. Obigwe said this in a statement made available to our correspondent on Sunday in Awka, the Anambra State capital. He was reacting to a viral video purporting that some state's revenue officers in the state manhandled a man in Onitsha in a gestapo manner. He described the viral video as," The desperation of the disgruntled opposition elements aimed at blackmailing Governor Soludo's administration. Obigwe's statement read in part,"There is nothing disgruntled opposition elements will not do to blackmail Governor Soludo administration and that is why I will not believe anything that emanates from them. "Disgruntled opposition elements are currently trending a blackmail video of an incident they claimed it happened in Onitsha where a man was being dragged out of his car by men wearing green apron in disguise as revenue task force team. "When I watched the video with the blackmail piece attached to it, I concluded immediately that it's the handiwork of disgruntled opposition elements. " i say this for people to avoid being misinformed with disgruntled opposition elements stage managed video. "The current revenue task force team are well behaved and they don't behave like criminals. That video was obviously stage managed to look like a robbery scene by disgruntled opposition elements in a desperate bid to portray the revenue task force team in a bad light before the general public and also blackmail Governor Soludo administration. "The truth remains that Governor Soludo is stainless and blackmailing his administration is tantamount to pouring water on a stone and bathing the stone. "Anybody that want to genuinely report government task force team's misconduct will not do it in a blackmail manner but in this instant case, the disgruntled opposition elements circulated their stage managed video in a blackmail manner and ended up using their own hands to expose their evil plan. "The general public are advised to disregard the video being circulated by the disgruntled opposition elements because they stage managed it for blackmail pupurpose." |
