Eight Key Facts To Understand About Mohbad's Autopsy A joint team consisting of the Nigeria Police Force and health officials conducted an exhumation of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, on Thursday. The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed this, stating that an autopsy on Mohbad’s remains will commence soon. The police have also arrested the nurse who administered an injection to the deceased singer before his passing on September 12. Here are some key points about an autopsy: External Examination: It begins with a detailed external examination of the body, recording physical characteristics, measurements, and weight. Internal Examination: The body is opened, usually through a ‘Y’ incision, to expose internal organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, and more. Viewing Internal Organs: The ribs may be sawn off to fully expose the internal organs, which are examined. Removing Organs: The organs, including the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, and spleen, are typically removed as one block and dissected on the autopsy table. Samples are collected for further microscopic examination. Removing the Brain: The brain is removed through an incision in the scalp, examined, and either cut fresh or preserved in a formalin solution. Examining Organs: Organs are weighed, intestines drained, and stomach contents examined. Returning Organs: Organs are usually returned to the body, except for small tissue samples. The family is consulted about the disposition of retained specimens. Sewing Up the Body: After the examination is complete, the body is stitched closed. This detailed examination helps determine the cause of death. Source: https://crockvibes.com/eight-key-facts-to-understand-about-mohbads-autopsy/ Seun Lalasticlala mynd44
