Way to go. The Same needs to apply to taxes accrued from sales of alcohol too. States that destroy alcoholic products in the name of shari'a should not get shishi from revenue generated from such. 178 Likes 16 Shares |

Nigerians may soon be paying different prices in different states for calls, data, SMS, and other telecommunication services, telecommunication firms have said. If Adebayo in Lagos pays N400 on a 15mins call, Abubakar in Sokoto will pay less... Nice one. 34 Likes 2 Shares |

According to him, “It will be unfair on states that provide a bright friendly business environment to pay as much as states that have high hostility against service providers. And we believe that the time has come. It is not done anywhere in the world. way to go 4 Likes 1 Share |

Good. Lagos State collects humongous amounts of taxes with nothing to show for it in anyway. If you think something is going on in Lagos State you need your head examined....then a visit to Durban South Africa with the same topography as Lagos State will change your mental condition.... Lagos State is simply a large slum 48 Likes 2 Shares |

This makes sense. I wonder why they are just thinking about this. But then, these useless telecoms will still rip people off. |

The issues are: 1. States that charge multiple taxes (like Lagos). 2. The plan to pass it on to the subscribers as if they are the ones who implemented the multiple taxes. 3. I may be wrong but I have not heard of this practice in other countries before. Yes there is a problem for the Telcos but instead of taking the cheap way out to punish the people the problem of multiple taxes should be revisited and urgently. 4 Likes |

At the end, all the burdens are on the common man. From the electricity tariffs to foodstuffs even the school fees, the common man is the burden bearer. The government of the day MUST exploit ways to make life easy for common man. I'm surprised that up till now, we are not hearing of the recovery of the stolen crude oil from the shores of this country. Yet the prices of virtually everything is on the increase. They are even borrowing to nlw pay with the crude oil. 1 Like |

Bosun may do well in digital economy particularly in the tech aspect such as software development, and tech skills generally but i doubt his competence in the communication aspect. The last minister of communication did tremendously well. We can see from the steps he has taken so far. 1 Like 2 Shares |
