Hi, we hear how food and drinks are expensive in nigeria. here is your opportunity to lay it bare. doesnt matter how much u send home, they always say things too deer for market. next time u go shopping pls put the prices of things you bought. e.g bag of rice 40kg #4,000 5 litre g.nut oil #1,000 etc you could also tell us wat state you live, a year later we re going to review it and see if prices has been stable or if your house girl dey cheat you, it should be interesting. |

i have efuru yam very good for pounded yam and as well good to boil as well. i have about 1000 tubers and can get more at affordable prices prices start from 150 naira but they are big big sizes call me on 08057131703, home delivery also available. |

i^^^ my bad, i didn't go through the thread well. the foodstuff prices you gave are quite reasonable except for the plantain.its almost the same if you convert it to naira. prices of stuff i bought recently. . . 1/2 gallon g/nut oil- N700 2 huge tubers of yams- N500 30 eggs- N740 beans- N600 4bulbs of onions- N100 thats all i can remember for now |

the price of egg vary, ranges from N650-N850 depending on the size. i doubt if you can get it for less than N25 each anywhere in Lagos. |
