Hello all,

My car a Honda Accord 2008 comes up with this signal TPMS after haven driven for over an hour or thereabout. After sometime the sign goes off again. What does this sign mean? I've tried checking the manual but couldn't get the meaning. Will it affect the performance of the car in any way?

TPMS means Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor

Try and Gauge your Tires to the Required Pressure, if the TPMS Light still illuminates while Driving, One or More of the Sensors may need replacement.

The TPMS Sensors are Located inside the Tires Attached to the Rims.

They are sensors attached to the valves of your car tires which monitor the pressures inflated in them.

From your explanation, your tires might be over inflated. REASON: The pressure in your tires tend to expand when heated up (while you drive) so that might trigger the warning light.

Check your tire max pressure and always maintain about 7 - 9psi less. That would also maintain your tires last longer.
