Has anyone tried using either MTN FAST LINK, MIFI or HYNET in a cafe? Pls a reliable contribution will be appreciated. The following must be considered.
1. The speed in kbps
2. The subscription : How many days can 3gig subscription last on 10 systems
3. Any other info will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi,

I would advise you to go for the MTN Hynet option as you are using the internet access for a cafe. MTN Hynet is based on wimax technology and is the only unlimited internet package from the mobile operators. I would advise that you buy the outdoor access point for your cafe.

Check out this thread for more info on MTN Hynet.

Thank you and God Bless you. The issue Hynet seem to be working only in areas where there is wimax network coverage. Im in Ado-Ekiti where the highest network is 3G. I also learnt that MIFI (mtn new mobile broadband ) Modem/router suports up to 5 systems and it works in 3G covered areas. Once again thanks alot.

I THINK THAT MTN MIFI IS BETTER.

Have you thought about how to configure billing on your cafe network if you are going to use mtn mifi? My advice is get a good 3G router that supports wired and wireless LAN (e.g Dlink DIR456U...For mifi? very bad idea
