No , I don't draft your budget and neither do I draw the SA budget but logic tells me that every cent collected by the government adds to the national budget especially taxes from multinationals and income tax.

That's good to hear that Nigerian politicians don't get themselves involved with election fraud and other crimes related to that because in many countries including SA we suffer from that.
I have never heard that a political party share money to thugs to disrupt election, an individual can do that, it doesn't mean it's the party.
Get the difference.
Logic doesn't work in everything.
Remove ur businesses and the budgets will only grow bigger, ShopRite was removed and Nigerians took over it.
South Africa benefits equally if not more from companies in Nigeria, whose money is that money, Sóûth Africàñ money or our money?
It's our money not South African money.
It is us contributing to our society and ur society.
Our telecommunication service took the faII for MTN so ur country can benefit.

Definitely there will be Nigerian professionals same way there are SA professionals as well as those who are not professionals here.
The fact remains that MOST professionals from Nigeria prefer Europe and North America.
Capable professionals will NEVER put SA as first choice when leaving Nigèria, only those "hustlers" will do that.
U can deport them (although we know the proposed legislation won't work out), if some people who are so quick to îñsuIt Nigèria in favor of the country they are staying and crîsès break out, then they expect Nigeria to retaliate on their behalf, it won't work.
German Chancellor on his 1 week visit here said same thing and the president didn't give him a satisfactory answer, something I am most pleased with.
Well there's a bit of a difference there as well; the SA professionals in Nigeria came with the SA companies and the rest are working for the SA government over there . We don't have SA professors, doctors etc over there ( not according to our consulate ). But it's different for Nigerians because the ones here applied directly from Nigeria, so they chose SA whether as a first choice or not as some are even coming from the UK and USA.

I agree with most of what you posted though .

There are Professionals here coming back from Europe as well as North America to come work in Nigeria, it's normal.
Nigerian professionals work everywhere, even in Togo.
The fact is that MOST professionals leaving Nigèria, don't have SA at the top of their list, unless they are ûñfortunàte with their papers.
I don't check with the consulate, ur professors cañ't even fit in here when we have loads and loads of professors here, we can ship out professors year in, year out and we still won't run out of professors.
Foreign professors here are mostly Europeans, from Ukraine, England etc.
I schooled under some of them.
Ur doctors?
I don't know about ur doctors.
Professionals don't just end up with doctors and professors.
There are South Africans here doing informal jobs, I don't know if ur consulate told u that but I know South Africans women who are househelps here.

And you seem to be under the impression that I'm saying without the SA taxes your budget would be almost non existent and that's far from the truth . But the reality is that those taxes do play a significant role to your fiscal unlike the presence of the so called investments we get from your petty traders .....that was the original point. The Nigerian government would be stupid to chase away such money because of the whinings of petty traders who know they should not be here to begin with.

The rest seem more like rhetorical questions

I meant you wouldn't attract professionals from SA the way SA attracts yours.

And ofvourse it's expected for your professionals to return there, but no SA professional would return from overseas to settle in Nigeria, that's the point.

Which Universities in Nigeria have professors from Europe, name one ? grin. No, our professors wouldn't fit over there as I doubt that they'd even choose Nigeria as a choice even if they chose to explore other countries and failed to get the papers.

It's difficult for u to accept that a South African is working as a nanny here right?
LOL.
Seems u overrate urselves.
I told u that professionals from Nigeria work in Togo, I guess that's attraction, is it?
Nigerians have the tendency to go to other societies compared to u South Africans.
U have so many jobless professionals who prefer staying in SA, but professionals in Nigeria who are working still feel the need to move out and explore, if u go to Ghana, u will see Nigerian professors, same as Benin Republic.
Nigerians have the tendency to expand compared to u folks, it's not about attraction.
Those who are interested in attraction are headed for Europe.
Nigerians school everywhere, a Nigerian who schooled in Ghana can decide to stay and work in Ghana same as those who school in SA.

The money is not South African, that's the point u are missing, it's Nigerian money, if the government chase u away u are the one that will lose.
Nigerians will take over the company and keep the employment and even expand just like they did with ShopRite, the money MTN takes back to ur country will be Ióst and MTN will take a huge loss.
The money will be channelled to other networks, other networks will grow.
Other networks took the faII for MTN because of corrupt officials using MTN as cash cows.
We chase MTN out, the Ioss is urs not ours.
The money being spent on MTN will be channelled to other networks and will remain here, no more money remitted back to ur country, taxes will continue being paid.
I am saying it's unreasonable to do that because SA want to send people back or whatever, my qualms with them is simply because those people will insult Nigeria on behalf of SA and still want same Nigèria to come save them in SA, that's what I am against.
We kick u out it's ur Ioss, not ours.
Nîgeriàns won't stop using mobile networks because there's no MTN, MTN network is very póór, the average Nigerian using a phone has at least 2 sim cards from different networks, if MTN folds up, it won't take a day for everyone to move on.
No more money repatriated back to ur country.

Smart one, there are no skilled professionals or expatriates that are chased out of SA , what we don't want is dirty informal businesses like salons, dirty markets , internet cafes, churches in every corner, spare parts shops even on our pavements etc. These are the investments your people bring here, and you want us to be happy with such nonsense when SA brings real investments to your country ? Never!. Bring us your industries , supermarket chains, manufacturing companies etc. Not petty traders and hustlers who are a burden to our infrastructure and ailing economy.

How are your hawkers going to hurt the economy of SA when they're chased out? grin. Are they paying taxes or employing people : No! So who loses?. We want only quality foreigners who add value to the country not parasites .
Thank you.

LMFAO,where were all these Nigerian businesses when SA entered the scene, and those who were around, why did the SA firms come in and do better than them ? What has changed in their services? And why have they not overtaken the likes of DSTV and Mtn in terms or revenue and patronage?

Services are SA, we know.
Fold up the services like ShopRite folded up let's see the outcome.
Where were other services before SA came?
There was MTEL providing cellular services before MTN came, alongside MTN and Econet it was supposed to provide GSM network, Government crashed it to favor MTN, sent another company out of the proposal process.
In the words of the Econet owner, he said they were voted out of the country because they refused to pay bribes to officials.
Instability in other networks (created by power brokers to keep their cash cow going) are the key reasons people have been choosing MTN, the idea have been changing recently, not with this kwashiorkored MTN services, people rely on other services more than before now, Airtel, Glo.
If u think u are helping Nigeria so much, try and fold up, we will see who needs the other more.
ShopRite folded up, it has expanded since then.
People are tired of DSTV, many people are stuck with it because of the sports it shows.
If other companies can secure license from Sky sports, DSTV will be in the trenches.
Other networks don't have the license to air all sports.

Ok , I don't see what you came to mentions to argue about. The services are South African and you pay for them with your money and everyone gets what they need, isn't that how it should be. There was a gap ,and SA firms filled it up, you had the money and you were given a place to deposit to.

The point remains, those firms were beaten to their game in Nigeria, they came in knowing how Nigerians do business and they made it work for them, the others had all the other years before that to exploit any loopholes and close any gaps so that any other companies brought to Nigeria can't survive the competition and they failed dismally because Mtn and DSTV are still the dominant companies in their respective sectors.

Those companies won't fold up anytime soon not when they are eating nicely in Nigeria but we also cannot allow Nigeria to bully us because of that. Bring real competition to SA not petty traders and criminals and shall enjoy patronage as well if you're good enough.

As for the licences for sports channels, I think we both know that those companies would never get them,so no need for the *ifs* . ...it just won't happen in the next 40 years grin

Sky sports supports monopoly.
That's a known fact, even Americans complain about what their provider is doing to them same way we are complaining about DSTV.
EPL as a whole supports monopoly in televising their sports.
To get their license, u need to crumble Supersport which is not worth it.

South African degrees remain the most preferred coming from Africa and the passport one the easiest to be admitted into foreign lands.

And take into account every other bill I'll pay. The money I'm left with every month, can I get the same quality of life I'm used here :healthcare , holiday, entertainment and savings ( will I save 5 times more) coz if not why uproot my life for a low quality life in another country? I clearly told u already that I won't support Government doing that because of the stated reason.
The government can decide to chase MTN out if MTN stop being their cash cow and the biggest losers will be MTN not the government, that's the fact I am pointing out to u that u find it difficult to swallow because u feel ur taxes keep our government running.
The money used for the tax is our money, the money is not brought from South Africa rather it is our money taken to South Africa.
If the government wake up and decide to say, "ok, MTN time to go" they will do it, that's what the Nigerian Government can readily when they feel like it.
They send u out, the taxes will keep getting paid.
Paying of ur taxes is of little significance, is the company adding value to the society, of course it is adding.
Who are those gaining the most, Owners of MTN as SA Government, the money taken from here is added to ur budget.
U talking like the government can't send MTN away because they depend on MTN to survive is a dream too tall for u.
If the government is sending South African companies away, they should do it for the right reasons not for petty reasons.
And of course we know they do it for petty reasons that matters to them.

Bank managers don't leave their jobs for security, that's where u got it wrong, unless u are faiIed bank manager.
Nobody prefers ur degree anywhere, why not put it to test?
U stay holed up in ur country and assume ur degrees are preferred?
LOL, if ur degrees are so preferred u won't be weighing whatever u are weighing before leaving SA because all the best jobs in Europe will be waiting for u and Nigerians, Ghañaians, Liberians and those from whatever country will get none of it because ur degrees are preferred, u mean same SA that a doctor will abandon her job to abscond with rapist?
I see how great ur life conditions are, your life conditions are great in SA whenever u pick up ur phones and tablets, the moment u drop them, u go back to face ur sorry reality.
DeIusion is when u think u have better quality of life in SA compared to Germany.
U said initially that u confirmed from ur consulate that there are South African professors in Nigeria right?
Why don't u confirm from ur consulate if there are informal workers from SA doing jobs here, this one is too difficult?
I am not trying to convince u to believe that there are Europeans doing teaching jobs here, naaaa, I won't do that.
U asked me to mention one school, u were so bold like u have all the data on ur table and u can confirm everything, I mentioned one school for u already, the next thing is for u to confirm for yourself.
In Borno which is a hotbed for terrorism, there are so many Europeans working there.
U don't even know where is Northern Nigèria and where is not Northern Nigèria, someone who doesn't know the area called Northern Nigeria thinks he knows about security in Northern Nigeria?
Abuja is Northern Nigeria, there are so many many many Europeans staying in Abuja.
