The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has recovered 200 houses in the United Arab Emirates, United States and South Africa belonging to the chief executive officers of the failed commercial banks in Nigeria.

Making the disclosure Wednesday at an interactive session with members of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance and other Financial Institutions, CBN Governor, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, said the houses were recovered when operatives took offshore its searchlight for the assets of the deposed bank chiefs.


This is Man's in humanity to Man. I commend the CBN gov for his role. It doesnot matter what people say about him. How can this bank executives steal & stach away the investors deposit abroad . While i donot encourage this, if the stolen funds have been invested in establishing factories in this country, millions of unemployed graduates will not be roaming about the street unemployed. They should be prosecuted and the houses sold and returned to the banks affected. Many of us who invested in this banks taking over have lost our hard earn income. what a shame. These people are criminals and God will jugde them.
