Not every people carved into South East are ethnically Igbo. There are Igala, and some are from other smaller tribes neighboring the Igbo speaking communities.

By the way, Ekpeye is not Igbo language, instead it is from the family of Igboloid languages which includes Igbo, eka, Ikwerre, Etchie, Izii-ikwo-Ezza-mgbo, Ogba, and Ukwuani-Aboh-Ndoni. These are not Igbo dialects, they are languages of their own. We the Igbo people should learn that those people that speak closely related language with us are not of Igbo ancestry, our ancestors and their ancestors may have related in thousands of years ago. Or they may have learn some Igbo language through association with the Igbo and inter tribal marriage. Igboloid languages are like Germanic languages such as German, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, Icelandic. People that speak these languages have similar words that mean the same thing and can understand each other. It is sad to see Igbo persons who are imposing Igbo identity on people who are not ethnically Igbo. Austrians speak German as their national language, but they are not Germans. People of Parts of Switzerland speak French, Italian and German, but they are Swiss. Some parts of Belgium speak French and Dutch, but they are not French or Dutch people, they are Belgians.

Lol

All we need is Biafra so we can grab the lands of Rivers, Calabar and Akwa-Ibom.

We have to conquer them and have access to the ocean for transatlantic trade. Being landlocked no make sense.
