smashall20: I bought an app yesterday in apple's itunes store with the africard, couldn't believe my eyes, got my apple ID quite easy, I had struggled with getting one in the past, but I think its much easier now since nigeria was added. App was $0.99 and the rate N160, was charged N5 extra. Thumbs up for UBA.

no. Using it on phone doesnt matter.

Try using it on another site with a small payment to ascertain that your card is active.

Is it true that UBA has limited the issuing of this card to account holder. This is what I was told by the customer service in the Head Branch in Abuja on 4th June 2012.

And one more question pls (am sorry am going off the thread) I have a paypal account created for me in the usa, yet to be verified, and I wanted to use it to receive payment for my wares on the website. Though some one told me I can access it on operamini/mobile, that that's how he is using his. I saw a thread on alertpay and want to ask if alertpay will serve same purpose as paypal will and it is internationally recognised and trusted like paypal is. Please I would love it if am giving some answers and advice on paypal and on what to do.I need answers from the gurus in the house.
