Are u not their customer are u not paying, Nairaland is a hub for all Nigerians worldwide so measures should be taken to manage this site properly.
I think u should have a serious talk with yr host else u pull out from there onetime.
There are better hosting firms with good customer services.

And concerning the abusive and cuss words on nairaland, I think seun have learnt that many high profile people are in this site and should deal with any comment that bothers on ethnicity insult and abusive words to any tribes.

But can tribal wars actually be contained in Nairaland, that means u go ban tire, admins need to be more up and doing, and ban whoever messes up here.
Nairaland is actually bigger than what Seun has envisaged, it is a forum for all Nigerian worldwide.

Can someone explain what exactly happened? I read something about abuse reports. People on NL are abusive, for sure, and I can see how things must've gotten outta hand. I hope Seun will finally do something about that, otherwise he may lose his website, because what happened will definitely happen again if changes are not made.

Don't mind them

The shutdown indicated that Nairaland can only appear to be a faceless forum but it isn't.... reason why every user should be mindful of what they post on here... there's freedom of speech but safety isn't guaranteed after the speech.... especially the politics section.

If you've been a regular member on here for years.. you'd agree with me that there are big politicians in that politics section that disguise with silly monickers.


Watch your back my people.....many has made it through the connections they got on here while few had been jailed or killed for their uncouthness on here.
